I was fascinated by the shape of this blade and bought it, lol. First, the core is wide, so there's little variation in the feel of the shot. I personally think this is the biggest merit. Also, this blade is an inner, but it flies about as much as an outer. It didn't fly too much and stayed on the table, which was nice. It also pairs well with DNA rubbers.

It's an inner blade, but it flies about as much as an outer.
The weight is just about right.
The sweet spot is big, so I get that satisfying contact feel more often now.
It's also easy to block with.
And it looks super cool.

I already reviewed this blade once before under the heading "It's good! Go buy it right now." At the time I said "the max-thickness Dig doesn't suit it, thick is enough if you're using Dig" — I'd like to correct that. It's insanely good! It's a blade that suits close-to-the-table, mid-distance, and away-from-the-table play equally well! It holds the ball so you feel secure, the core is wide so it's stable, and the speed and power are ridiculous. In short, it's nothing less than a god-tier blade! You end up thinking, "oh, so it's just a god-tier blade, is it." Even from the receiving end, the ball off a Cybershape feels heavy, fast, and stable! If you want to win, try using a Cybershape! It's good enough to make you laugh.

Shimajiro (Experience: ２〜３ years) More bounce and stiffness than inner types

It's called an inner blade, but the bounce is on par with an outer blade (comparing to Sriver FO), so I think it's a hard blade for beginner-to-intermediate players to handle unless they think carefully about rubber pairing.
Its biggest strength is how easy it is to swing all the way through.
Its weakness is defensive technique.
If you prioritize defense and put on something soft (45 degrees or below), you kill off its strengths, and at that point there's no real reason to bother with the Cybershape.
On the other hand, with 47.5 degrees or higher, the ball flies off before you can really grab it, so I had pretty much given up on using one — but then I found that the ball-holding quality of Rasanter C48 personally matched perfectly with the Cybershape's bounce, and it became incredibly easy to handle.
Since rubber compatibility is so important for beginner-to-intermediate players with this blade, I think it's really more suited to intermediate-to-advanced players.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I used to play with a light blade at around 165g total weight, but lately I've been challenging myself with this blade for about a year. At 189g total, it's very heavy, but since the weight is balanced toward the handle, you don't really feel it that much.
My impression is that it flies more than you'd expect for an inner blade, so I think a rubber that doesn't bounce too much suits it better.
At first I put Fastarc G-1 MAX on both sides, but I was overshooting too much, so I switched to Rakza X Soft, thick thickness.
I'd recommend a softer rubber around 42 degrees — when you sink the ball into it, the blade's own power supplies the speed, and it becomes easier to keep the short game under control.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

It's a bit on the stiff side, but if you can swing through solidly, it's the best!

These are my impressions after using it seriously for 6 months. If you focus on hitting near the tip of the blade, it delivers outstanding power! Even if you don't hit the tip, the sweet spot is wide, so you still get good balls. The feel is a unique Cybershape feel that only makes sense once you've hit with it — aside from the shape itself, I'd say it feels like an outer blade even though it's an inner. It grabs the ball, but somehow doesn't jar your hand much, if that makes sense. What I liked most was that thanks to the shape, the head of the blade slides under the table easily, which made the short game really easy, and the feel on backhand shots was insanely good! The rubbers that suited this blade well for me were Tenergy and DNA's XH. (The max-thickness Dig didn't work for me — if you're using a Dig rubber, thick is enough. I really hate G-1, but I thought it could actually work with this Cybershape.) The downside is that because of the shape, you can't reuse rubber sheets on it — that's really disappointing. This blade produces good balls no matter what you do, so I absolutely, positively want everyone to try it! Go buy it right now!
