      Since it's a Super ALC, I expected it to be super fast, but it's not like that at all - it holds the ball nicely and has moderate speed. It pairs really well with tacky rubbers. The ball rises and bounces just right, staying on the table well. Pairing it with tension rubbers is a bit tricky though. The speed isn't that high, but the ball tends to fly up too much, so I think it's fine to buy as long as you understand that.

      Ishikawa Goemon (Experience: １１〜２０ years) The ALC blade I imagined

      I've hit with the Viscaria, Timo Boll ALC, and Lin Gaoyuan ALC before, and found them all to release the ball too quickly to be easy to use - but the Super ALC actually gave me more of a ball-holding feel, and the top ply felt softer. I found it paired relatively well with rubbers that have a soft top sheet but a firmer sponge, rather than an overall soft rubber. That said, since I'd been using an outer ZLC blade up to now, I'm not used to a softer feel, and I felt like I was getting pushed around by my opponent's powerful shots (probably because of the good ball-holding). It does fly, but not in an uncontrolled way, so it feels roughly like taking the Inner Force ALC and making it fly more, without changing the overall feel.

      This is my 88.5g Viscaria Super ALC. This is a follow-up review.
      I'm using domestic Skyline Neo3 with blue sponge on the forehand, and domestic Hurricane 3 with white sponge on the backhand
      The balance between drive speed and spin improved, and the feel got better too.
      Backhand drives got faster too, probably thanks to the softer sponge.
      Both speed and spin improved compared to the Viscaria with Hurricane Neo3.
      The racket's speed is also up about 1.2x over the Viscaria, and the ball-holding improved as well.
      Definitely worth picking up.

      Strongest adhesive rubber (Experience: ２〜３ years) Boosted rebound power

      I used to use the Viscaria Chinese-penhold, but I switched to the Viscaria Super ALC Chinese-penhold.
      The balance between speed and control was struck perfectly. The rubber I use is the domestic Skyline Neo3 with blue sponge, 41 degrees.
      Using this rubber let me push the ceiling on both speed and spin even higher.
      Highly recommended. Definitely give it a try.

      This is a comparison with the Viscaria.
      Simply put, it generates more speed (about 1.2x), and the spin on loops was high enough to rival an inner blade.
      Also, compared to the handle-heavy balance of the Viscaria, this one has more carbon, so the balance leans a bit more toward the tip.
