I used this as my second blade back in 7th grade (I ended up having it snapped by my dad in the end...). It matched really well with Hurricane rubber, and my drives sank a lot. It gets plenty of spin, but I felt the speed was still better with a Jun Mizutani ZLC. Anyway, it's a great blade so give it a try.

For a 7-ply blade, the bounce is kept nicely under control
it doesn't really feel like you're using a 7-ply blade

This was my first 7-ply blade.
If you're getting into 7-ply blades, this Swat is kind of the go-to, right?
The reviews for this Swat here are pretty high, but honestly it didn't suit me.
People often say the Swat has some of the good qualities of a 5-ply blade too, but the moment you hit a bit harder, the ball leaves really fast. I guess that's just how 7-ply blades are.
What I noticed after switching to a different 7-ply blade is that the Swat has a "pok" sound off the ball that I'm not a huge fan of, the ball leaves fast, the arc is low, and it was hard to hit fast topspin drives with it.

I'd been using an SK7 for a long time, but lately rubbers have been getting heavier, so I was looking for a slightly lighter blade... and found this one in a shop.
My SK7 was 91g, and this Swat was 87g, and it was cheap too, so I figured if it didn't work out I could just go back, and bought it.
But when I actually used it — wow, it's really easy to use!
The feel is great, and both the short game and topspin rallies go exactly the way I want, which surprised me.
We tend to focus only on rubbers, but this blade made me realize again that the blade itself matters too.
