I used to play with a 5-ply Mace Performance, but when the plastic ball came in, I wanted more speed to punch through blocks, so I switched blades. My first impression when I hit with it was that, compared to a 5-ply, this 7-ply had such a nice feel that it didn't feel any different from the blade I used before. The 7-ply Gashan Max Wood I used 15 years ago was hard, heavy, and had no flex — not a blade I could really handle — but this Swat felt really easy to use.
You can tell from how easy it is to use and how much power it has why it's consistently ranked #1 in Table Tennis Kingdom's sales rankings.
For a 7-ply it's also fairly light (personally I like a heavier blade since I put spin-tension rubber on both sides, so the weight ends up just right), but it spins easily and has good speed, so I think it's a great blade. The only thing that bothers me is that the outer smoked veneer is a bit fragile. If you don't mind that small detail, I think this is a blade that would appeal to just about everyone.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This blade has really good value for money. I bought it for attacking play and chopping.
The backhand side seems to have that 7-ply speed, and the push (stop-push style) felt really good.
On the forehand, both topspin drives and smashes come through solidly.
As for chopping performance, both forehand and backhand chops were very stable.
The trajectory is straight and lets you cut sharp shots.
A strong drive coming to my forehand is admittedly hard to chop, but I can still counter it with a drive without any trouble.
Since this is meant for attacking play, the short game felt much easier than with a dedicated chopping blade — flicks and chiquitas came a lot more naturally.
If a chopping blade doesn't satisfy you and you want to boost your attacking power, I'd recommend this one.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Just like the title says, I don't think anyone from beginners to advanced players would have any complaints using this!
It's an all-around blade with great control and great spin.

This blade is really light and easy to use.
The topspin drive gets insane spin on it.

The ball comes off exactly the way your swing intends, so it's really easy to control.
Just as its reputation says, the value for money is great — it's a god-tier racket.
Since the switch to plastic balls, blades with an outer carbon layer release the ball too fast for me to handle, so going with an all-wood blade was the right call.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I was using a 7-ply Swat at 82g with a penhold grip, but it felt like it wobbled a bit on impact.
I bought the 80g Chinese-penhold-style Swat instead, and there's no wobble at all — the feel on contact is outstanding.
Vega, Mark V, Fly Att — it went well with all of them.
It feels like the racket's ease of use matters more than the rubber's own performance, and you get used to it right away.
Thanks to being 7-ply, it doesn't lose out on power, and since it's close to a 5-ply, spin is easy to put on too.

This is my second racket, and I'm still using it happily.
As for my impressions after using it... I don't think it loses out in topspin rallies.
Also, the feel on contact is really good, so I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't yet know what a good feel on contact is like.
For the price, I think it's really good.
