In the celluloid ball era, I thought this was the best racket! But once the plastic ball came in, it became a much harder racket to use.
When I hit with it again after a long time, the ball came off really fast and I could smash through easily. Blocks also seemed to come back just by touching them.
That said, receiving takes a lot of concentration.

This is a blade that shows a completely different personality depending on the rubber combination. At first I had Fastarc G1 on the forehand, but my topspin drives weren't very stable, and even though there should have been plenty of spin on the ball, it kept going long. But when I switched to Tenergy 05 FX, even though there's a bit of an unpleasant feel on contact, everything — drives, blocks, counters — became stable enough that I couldn't find a weak point. My guess is that players with more power should go with a harder rubber, and those less confident should go with something softer.

This is Mizutani's signature model blade. Maybe it's down to the rubber, but the spin performance feels low. That said, I think the control and speed are good. It's a blade that costs over 30,000 yen, but give it a try.

I only borrowed this from an acquaintance and hit with it for a single day, so please forgive this incomplete review.
Even at the stage of light forehand hitting, you could clearly tell the speed and bounce were different from other blades, and honestly it felt like it would be hard to handle — but oddly enough, when I actually hit topspin drives, there was this strange sense that the ball would still land on the table.
That said, the short game is a bit of a weak point because of how strong the rebound is, and I felt that playing close to the table for extended rallies was a bit tough too.
I'd recommend this to players who are good at developing play from mid-distance or away from the table, and to those who like to finish points in one shot with a powerful topspin drive.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

A super high-end blade. My coach let me borrow it, but I was scared of dropping it.
My coach had Spinart on the forehand and 80 on the backhand.

It bounces a lot, and you can still put solid spin on the ball. You can hit eye-catching, high-speed topspin drives that still draw a proper arc, which lets you play with an incredibly wide range of styles. You can even fight back from away-from-the-table position with room to spare.
On the flip side, because the bounce is so strong, receives and the short game demand real skill and delicacy. A half-hearted return usually pops up, and you get punished before you can show what this blade can do, so I think you need either the skill to receive properly or a strategy of forcing your way into a hitting contest even if it's a bit reckless.This blade demands that you play aggressively at all times. If you want to use it despite lacking confidence in receives and the short game, you'll do better going boldly on the offensive with flicks or deep pushes for your receives and pushes. Serves and pushes cut extremely sharply, and depending on the rubber, blocks also come in at tremendous speed, so if you keep "always be aggressive" in mind while using it, your impression of it will change.
At first the wild, hard-to-tame feeling is intense, but depending on your mental game, it can become an extremely reliable blade.

Bell-kun (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Amazing for hitting against cuts!

The blade I used before this was the Innerforce ALC, and since I don't have a lot of natural power, there were often times I couldn't put the ball away on my forehand. With the Mizutani blade I'm using now, even someone without much power like me can hit balls with real destructive force. As for control, if you're conscious of your contact point and form, it stays stable — and it's forgiving even if your form breaks down a bit. For anyone who's confident in their stability and wants more power, this blade is perfect. I also tried hitting against chops, and it was amazing there too! Even when a heavily spun ball came back, hitting a slightly harder topspin drive gave a great balance of speed and spin, producing an undeniably good drive. It's expensive, but it delivers performance to match. Definitely give it a try.
