On the forehand I used Jupiter 2 Blue Sponge. First off, the maximum amount of spin is higher than something like Evanholz or Wa no Kiwami, so you can score points with loop drives. A desperate, rushed shot has less spin than a perfectly executed one, so you can also score off that difference in spin, and since the top ply is hard, you don't get pushed around by your opponent, making it strong in rallies too — it was a perfect fit for me.
I'd recommend this to people looking for equipment that's harder and generates more spin than the Hurricane King, or to people looking for a blade a bit softer than a hard-wood blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I bought this as my second blade. While I was looking around I thought "this looks good" and got it.
The standout feature of this blade is that it grips the ball well! With my go-to loop, it grabs the ball firmly and sends it flying, so the spin is insane!
Also, at tournaments when I swap rackets for inspection, people sometimes say "oh, a Tornado King," which makes me happy.
The grip end looks similar to a certain blade from a certain company, and I like the design too.

First of all, it's easy to handle.
It has good stability, so you can play with peace of mind.
The ease of putting spin on the ball is also excellent. Thanks to the soft feel and flex unique to 5-ply blades, you can really put spin on the ball.
As for speed, apparently the surface uses a hard wood, but it didn't feel like it had much pop. It flies more from the flex, so compared to something like the Timo Boll ALC, the speed is lacking.
That said, if you put a bouncy rubber on it, I think the blade's ease of spin combined with the rubber's bounce would make for a great blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

This is a 5-ply blade that suits harder spin-oriented rubbers, so I tried putting an Omega series rubber on it.
My impression after hitting with it is that it flies quite well. Normally, if you pair a rubber with a blade that's too hard, the ball doesn't sink into the sponge and won't bounce unless you hit with a strong impact, but with this blade the ball sinks in properly, you get good spin, and there's plenty of speed too, so I think it's good.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Right (Experience: ４〜５ years) From your first blade to top players!!

I bought this as my first blade for playing with long pips. What stands out is that even as a first blade you can properly build up your technique, and it's also a blade top players like Sakura Mori use. The reason is that even though it has good speed and spin performance, being a 5-ply blade also lets you develop control and a real feel for gripping the ball.

Copying Mori, I use Hurricane NEO 3 on the forehand and Fastarc G-1 on the backhand. Both are on the harder side, but the arc you get when you pull a drive is incredible, and the gap in spin compared to a poorly hit shot is huge, so if you get your opponent to block, you can score solidly. Because the top ply is super hard, you can hit back without losing to your opponent's power, so it's also good in topspin rallies. The grip is apparently made a bit thinner than the Hurricane King, so I feel like it makes finer technique easier. It's a bit pricey, but I definitely think it's worth buying.

The top ply uses ebony, so it pairs really well with tacky rubbers and spin-oriented tension rubbers. Opinions vary on the forehand, but Hurricane 2 suits players who loop-drive and play close to the table. NEO 3 or 8 can also handle playing from further back, and give you plenty of spin and speed. Or maybe Fastarc G-1 works fine on the forehand too. For an all-around choice, Yasaka's Shoryu is good. For the backhand, I'd go with the Tenergy series, Fastarc series, or V-15 Extra. For middle/high schoolers wanting to keep costs down, Shoryu with Fly Attack Spin or Factive is good. I've mostly just listed combinations, but performance-wise it's similar to Hurricane King.
