    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
This racket is highly rated for its exceptional spin performance, making it particularly popular among players with spin-oriented playing styles like loop drives. However, reviews note that speed performance is relatively modest, and players typically need to compensate by selecting appropriate rubber.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Easy to apply spin with high maximum spin rotation
    • Good ball control with stable drive shots
    • Excellent compatibility with sticky rubber and spin tension
    • 5-ply wood construction suitable for beginners to advanced players
    • Ideal for playing styles that emphasize spin over speed
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe trajectory when driving is amazing, and the spin difference between well-executed and mistaken shots is so great that you can reliably score points with blocking exchanges. The ultra-hard top plate doesn't lose to opponent's power, making rally exchanges easier.
▽ CriticalSpeed drives lack punch and make rallies difficult. However, loop drives are remarkably easy, allowing you to vary spin amount and induce opponent errors.

Impact pride (Experience: 4〜5 years) King of Hurricane?

      Player reviews

The bounce and spin might be similar to the Hurricane King. This time I moved away from Neo 3 and went with Pro 2 for the rubber — it grips the ball really well, but it doesn't have much bounce. This is my first time using it and I find it hard to use. The blade itself performs amazingly well, but the rubber... lol. There might already be reviews of the Ma Long 5 up, but I felt the Ma Long 5 was better in terms of performance.

Beginner kid (Experience: 4〜5 years) Not rock hard, you can feel some softness

      Player reviews

It's a 5-ply all-wood blade, and even though the plies are thin, it has good speed. Of course, compared to outer carbon blades the initial speed and speed are inferior, but for an all-wood blade I think it's on the faster end. It has a decent amount of hold on the ball, and even though the top ply is hard, it's not overly stiff, so topspin drives where you let the ball sink into the sponge feel very easy to do. Meet-hitting isn't bad either, but I think you really get the most out of this blade by focusing on topspin drives. You can hit drives that dip down after the bounce. The best part was that backhand drives were very easy to hit and got great spin — of any blade I've used, the backhand drive feels the easiest with this one. Blocking is stable too, thanks to the blade's weight and the hardness of the top ply.
For rubber, I think tacky tension rubber suits the forehand well. Using rubber to make up for speed and distance gives a nice balance. Spin-oriented tension rubbers with a lot of spin also seem to pair well.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of the feel and sound (a kind of poka-poka sound) when hitting, so I probably won't use this as my main blade.

Minmin (Experience: 4〜5 years) Rock hard lol

      Player reviews

If you take the initiative and get your opponent blocking, this is a dream blade — just put the ball in somewhat casually and it moves on its own so the opponent nets it lol. If you put Hurricane on for blocking it turns into a knuckleball, which makes it really hard to deal with from the opponent's side, but if you still want to win, give it a try.

      The ball-holding is insane.
The feel is hard, but it still grips the ball firmly, so you can swing with confidence.

      Highly recommended.

Takuto (Experience: 2〜3 years) Isn't this blade insane!?

      Player reviews

A relative gave it to me so I tried it out, and it produces the nastiest shots I've faced in a while. I played against a chopper and had a good match. It usually goes to a full set, but this time it was 3-1. I heard afterward that the ball's arc drops and sinks once it crosses the table. Personally I already think Hurricane's arc is amazing, but I feel like the Tornado King is boosting that even further. Everyone, give it a try at least once!

Rotational specialty (Experience: Less than a year) Great spin‼️

      Player reviews

Great spin and an outstanding feel! I think it's partly the rubber, but it bounces really well. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants heavy-spin drives or serves with crazy tearing spin. I think it's worth using.

been (Experience: 2〜3 years) Rage on, my Tornado!

      Player reviews

Truly a Tornado. This is a blade you can score points with by varying your spin. Because the maximum amount of spin is high, my opponents made more mistakes even when I only brushed the ball lightly. Also, I feel the hardness isn't actually that extreme. Control is, I'd say, decent enough. I've been using tacky rubber since about 8 months into playing table tennis, and I felt it suits this blade well. For the forehand with tacky rubber, Hurricane NEO 3, Golden Tango, and Shoryu all work well. Tension rubbers, I have no idea!! For the backhand it basically comes down to Shoryu or Kiryu, but I think that's fine too. Tension rubbers, I have no idea!!
