The blade is on the larger side and a bit heavy, but the usability doesn't make you feel that at all.
Just like the catalog says, spin-based techniques like chiquita are easy to do, and you can also produce solid, heavy drives, so I highly recommend it.
The only slight downsides are that it doesn't produce much speed, and right now it only comes in an FL (flared) handle.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

This blade is characterized by a soft, European-style feel, and it pairs really well with spin-oriented tension rubbers.

I've used about four other Butterfly shakehand blades, and mostly Nittaku ones besides that, but this one felt thinner in the grip than any of them. It's a flared handle, but the grip end measurement is the same as other blades, so I think the base near the blade must be thinner. Because the grip is thin, at first it didn't quite fit my hand and felt a bit off, but there were good things about the thinness too. My wrist moves more freely, and with a bit of space created in my palm, when I really put force into adding spin, combined with the blade's size and thinness, I could really feel a lot of spin going on. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to increase their spin.

Timo Boll (Experience: 4〜5 years) A masterpiece 5-ply

It was fantastic. What I like most is the feel and the flex. It doesn't bounce as much as the maker claims — if anything, it felt controlled. But when you swing through, you can hit an incredibly heavy ball. It handles all sorts of techniques smoothly, and I think the better you get, the more you'll appreciate how good it is.

I've been using it since my inverted-rubber-on-both-sides days
It's still easy to use even after switching to my current style, so I think it works well no matter what rubber you put on it!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch
