Bounce, flex, ball-holding feel, the feel of the hit, the sound — everything about it is top-notch. A common misconception I hear people say is stuff like "an expensive blade = amazing, a cheap blade = you get what you pay for," but that's simply not true. Taking into account your own style, swing, the kind of table tennis you want to play, and your habits, it all comes down to compatibility with the blade. I've used and tried plenty of expensive special-material blades and expensive wooden blades too. In the end, it really wasn't about the price — it was about fit. I hope everyone finds a blade that fits them well. A good place to start is by taking a fresh look at the style and skill level you're aiming for.
Lastly, this blade is definitely meant for one-sided use. If you put rubber on the backside, you lose that great feel and ball-holding sense, since if you want to use the backside, a 5-ply blade is definitely the way to go.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I think this blade might just be the one that suits me best. I've cheated on it with all sorts of blades — different manufacturers, different models, 5-ply, ALC, ZLC, both outer and inner special-material — and eventually landed on 7-ply, trying out plenty of different 7-ply blades along the way too. I really tried a ton of blades. It cost me a lot of money too. I spent my salary on blades and rubbers... Everyone has their own preferences and feel, and sure, a certain manufacturer's expensive special-material blade was good, the new products weren't bad either, and the Chinese-style blades from famous player series were good too. But I noticed something! Every single comparison I make always comes back to this blade. Which means this blade has become my baseline. Which means this blade is the best, most suitable one for me. So I realized once again — this is my partner. If you have the budget, you really should try out a variety of blades! There's no question everyone has their own preference. It's not about price, material, brand, or reviews — a blade being your partner comes down to compatibility. For me, this blade suits me better than a 30,000-yen blade. In the end, it's all about compatibility.

It bounced way more than I expected. Personally, my impression is that it bounces more than some mediocre special-material blades. The blade alone is heavy, so I'd say it's meant for one-sided use. That said, personally I really like the feel and the sense of the ball staying on the blade. It probably depends on what rubber you pair it with, but in a good way, it's easy to use. The sound is that distinctive wood sound. Like I said at the start, it bounces more than some weaker special-material blades, so if you underestimate it just because it's wood, you'll find the control tricky. This was my first time using a 7-ply blade, and it might be the one that's clicked with me the most. This is purely my personal impression, but it bounces far more than any inner special-material blade I've used before. It also feels bouncier than outer special-material Arylate blades. I'd say it bounces less than outer Zylon-carbon blades, though.

It's cheap, and with this kind of destructive power, it's a blade worth buying.
I've since switched to shakehand, but back when I played penhold I used this the whole time.
Compared to a standard Japanese penhold blade, it has a wider sweet spot for meeting the ball and can put out plenty of power.Topspin drives were also really easy to hit, so definitely give it a try.

Overall I'm satisfied.
As for rubber, you can go either one-sided or two-sided, whichever you prefer. I use it two-sided myself.
In my case I'm also using a firm rubber, V15 Extra, so I can put out fast, powerful shots even on blocks.
At this point I can hardly imagine using anything other than this blade and rubber combo.

Chinese penhold (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Feels good

I switched over to this blade from a special-material one, and the power holds up just fine, plus you get a nice amount of spin too. It really feels like the ball grips onto the blade. That said, I think it's a bit heavy for a player without much strength to use with rubber on both sides. For reference, I've got max thickness on both sides.

I've got max-thickness rubber on both sides, and it doesn't feel all that heavy to me.
If you're going to play with a backhand style, I think this is the best blade for it. That's because it hits a sweet spot — not too bouncy, not too dead — so as long as you set your angle and just bounce the ball off it, you'll get a shot with real speed.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard
