      Kaii Yoshida doesn't put rubber on the back side.

      That's because it's heavy. I'd recommend this to players who go all-forehand and just hammer away.

      But there are people who can't move around that much. It's probably safer to buy a different blade in that case, but

      I actually put one of those trendy ultra-thin rubbers on the back side.

      I'd recommend this to players switching over from Japanese penhold, or to anyone confident in their leg and arm strength.

      Rick (Experience: １１〜２０ years) If Chinese penhold without a backside, this is the only choice

      If you're going to push forward with your forehand without using the backhand, like Yoshida, this is the best choice.
      The blade is thick, so I can't recommend putting rubber on the backhand.
