Let me ask a quick question first. What kind of image do you have of this Innerforce Layer ALC.S? I think a lot of people say things like: the regular ALC is better, this one feels almost like all-wood, it doesn't bounce, it's just kind of mediocre. This blade flips that opinion on its head. Let me sum up a few of its good points. First, it's "just right." Close to the table is the best spot for it, but it flies well enough at mid-distance too. The ball sits on it well and it's easy to control. Everything about it is just right. That's the kind of blade this is. Second, it's completely split in character. What I mean is the wood and the arylate carbon feel distinctly separate. For light rallies, like warming up before a match, or the short game, it handles like a 5-ply all-wood blade. For topspin rallies or full-power drives, the carbon really comes alive. That contrast is what brings out its ease of use. Third, it doesn't pick a rubber. Normally you match the rubber to the blade, using it to make up for what the blade is missing — the blade is the center of that relationship. But with the ALC.S, it's the blade that adapts to you. Strong spin for a spin-oriented rubber, balance for a speed-oriented rubber, and a milder feel for a tacky rubber. Since the blade does the adapting, you really can't go wrong. For these reasons, I recommend the ALC.S.

I use Hurricane Neo 3, and when the Hurricane doesn't bounce, it doesn't bounce, and when the Innerforce Layer ALC.S doesn't bounce, it doesn't bounce either — they match well, so it's easy to use.
Since the blade is thin, the ball doesn't fly off unpredictably, and serves are easy too.
The way the ALC kicks in is almost the same as the Innerforce Layer ALC, so I think this one is better.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

The blade has a very nice design. It's very easy to control, especially close to the table, where it gives you very good control. Playing more than two meters from the table needs more strength. When practicing, there are some mishits near the edges of the blade — probably because it's weaker, being only 5.5mm.

First off, my first impression of this Innerforce Layer ALC.S was "wow, this is so easy to use." I switched over from an all-wood plywood blade and got used to it right away. The carbon seems to kick in from time to time. Out of every blade I've used, this is by far the easiest to put spin on. My impression was that the speed was low. But it actually gives about the same speed as a 7-ply all-wood blade. The inner fiber layer lets you easily control how much power you put into a shot — the strength of the ball changes along with how hard you swing. I figured a blade this easy to use probably doesn't care much about the rubber you put on it, and that's true as long as you don't pick a rubber that's too soft. Rubbers that work well with anything are things like Rozena or Rakza 7. A sponge hardness of 45 to 50 degrees (around 35 degrees on the Butterfly scale) is just right. I think Fastarc G1 pairs amazingly well with it if you've got the power for it. It's calmer than an outer ALC and more spin-focused than the regular Innerforce Layer ALC, a nice balance. If you want speed, go for the outer ALC; if you want balance, go for the Innerforce Layer ALC; and if you love spin, this Innerforce Layer ALC.S is the one.

I think this Innerforce Layer ALC.S really splits opinion, compared to the Innerforce Layer ALC. The ALC.S is spin-focused. It does have speed, of course, but whether you can really rely on it is a bit questionable. The ALC, on the other hand, is more balance-focused. It has good speed and is easy to control too. Its spin is just a bit less than the ALC.S. The ALC.S has good balance as well, but if you want stable play, the ALC is the way to go. The ALC.S is recommended for players who care about spin. It has a lot of bounce, so it's not suited to choppers. I didn't feel like there was a rubber that was a particularly perfect match for it. It seems to pair well with Rozena, so a softer rubber would probably be good (for example, Rakza X Soft).
It's built with arylate carbon, but the feel is almost the same as an all-wood blade. The downside is that the blade is heavy. Other than that, nothing really bothered me.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I think it's great for people who prioritize spin.
It doesn't have much bounce, so it's easy to put spin on.
Personally I think Rasant suits it better than Tenergy.
It's good for players who fight from close to the table or mid-distance and want stability, but for players who do a lot of topspin rallies, I think it'll be tough since it doesn't have much bounce.

Innerforce Layer ALC.S (Experience: ２〜３ years) Excellent stability

Seriously outstanding stability. I use Tenergy 05 Hard on my backhand, and blocks are super stable and go into the opponent's court reliably. It's also easy to put spin on and easy to loop drive with. It doesn't have much speed for topspin rallies, so I cover that by using Dignics 05 max thickness. Overall it's a really good blade.
