This is a blade that generates a lot of speed.
I've got Fastarc G-1 on both sides. G-1 is a rubber that spins easily, but even so the ball flies in a straight line off this blade. Still, it lands consistently on the table.
It goes in like it's driving straight into the opponent's court.
I also find serves and receives really easy to do.
That said, as other reviewers have mentioned, you won't get good shots unless you hit with a strong swing.
For things like counters, you do get fast balls close to the table, but unless your swing can keep up with the speed of close-to-the-table rallies, it's hard to bring out this blade's strengths. Loop drives also won't go in if you hit them too weakly.

I switched from the Timo Boll ALC.
Whether it's just individual variation or the actual performance, I don't know, but it didn't fly enough to make me go 'whoa.' It was easy to control and easy to put spin on. If you want proper control, I'd recommend a rubber with sponge hardness of 37-42. If you can hit hard while still controlling it, something harder than that might work too. I used G-1.
Anyway, the arc on the topspin drive is amazing and the ball really carries. Conclusion: a great blade.
One last thing —
I put Rozena on the backhand, but I wouldn't really recommend this combination. As other reviews mention too, a harder rubber might suit it better.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I used to use Tenergy 05 and 80, but after switching to V15 Extra on both sides, the ball goes in exactly where I intend and my counters land way better than before. Maybe it's just a good match with the Koki Niwa, but I'd recommend it for fast-attack close-to-the-table players. Of course, I think players who stay away from the table would find it easy to use too. Definitely give it a try.

When I test-hit 4 different blades at the shop, this was the one that fit me best out of everything so far!
Playing with V-15 Extra on it, my honest impression is that counters are really stable.
Generating your own spin feels a bit hard, but when you use your opponent's power it lands smoothly!
Also, the short game is easy — especially the backhand chiquita, which I feel goes in more easily now!
I'd recommend it for intermediate players and above, especially fast-attack close-to-the-table players, but it also works for a mid-distance style!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Counters are easy, but pushes are tricky because you need to put in effort or the spin won't take. I think it's heavy for elementary and middle school kids. But it's a really great blade.

I started out with the FL handle. Now I use the ST. It could do pretty much everything and was easy to use.
The Koki Niwa is a perfect blade — it holds the ball when you want to stop it, and flies properly when you want to drive it. Whether close to the table or away from it, you get stable play without losing spin or speed. The blade is 5.7mm thick, and since switching to the Koki Niwa I've been able to hit really stable topspin drives and counters with both forehand and backhand. I think any rubber goes with it.
