I borrowed one from an acquaintance.
The feel is a bit off...
The bounce made me think, wait, is this an outer-carbon blade?
The spin depends entirely on the rubber you use.Unless you're a fan of Koki Niwa or have some other special reason, it's not really a blade I'd particularly recommend.

Attack and defense close to the table are flawless. It's the perfect blade for mastering the kind of fast attacking game close to the table that Niwa plays.

This blade is great for stops, flicks, and pushes — when you want to hold the ball back it holds, and when you want to hit it hits solidly. Also, when you hit hard, if you catch the ball firmly close to the table you can land stable counters. On top of that, I could hold my own in topspin rallies without losing out.
In summary: it feels like wood but performs like a special-material blade — a rare combination.

Play close to the table is easy with this. Most techniques are easy to pull off, and blocks and counters in particular are really easy — even without much power you can hit strong counters like Koki Niwa does.
It's not just good close to the table either — you can play well even when you drop back. That said, this blade is fairly heavy, and if you put the recommended V15 Extra on it, it gets pretty heavy (lol).

I think it really depends on the player.
The blade's balance is good, so
if you don't match your rubber choice
to your own playing style, it ends up
feeling half-baked.
That said, short pips and long pips rubbers
don't really suit it, so personally I think
inverted rubber or tacky rubber is better.
As I said, it's best to decide based on your own game.
But personally, I don't think you should use this from the start

Takahi Niwa (Experience: ２〜３ years) Lightning counter

I chose this because I'm a fan of Koki Niwa.
This blade is well-balanced and easy to serve with, across the board. I find it easy to receive with too. Chiquitas and flicks are easy to do. Play close to the table is where this blade really shines! Mid-distance and away from the table, it's a bit harder to control. Counters are way easier to pull off than with the Kenta Matsudaira blade I used before, and they just go in so easily!
But the weakness is the weight of this blade... Mine is 90 grams, and since I've got heavy V>15 Extra on both sides, it's tough for someone small like me.
You can manage the weight by choosing your rubbers carefully.
Also, this is a step up from the Quartet AFC, so I'd recommend this one over that.
Finally, this blade is great for players who like playing close to the table and want to smash counters one after another — aggressive players who want to hit powerful shots. It's also all-round enough that chopping balls you can't otherwise handle is pretty manageable too. Just holding the Koki Niwa makes you feel like you've become Koki Niwa.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
