    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated for its excellent ball retention and stability, this 5-ply racket is appreciated as a balanced option that maintains adequate speed. The LG grip size is praised for improving usability across a wider range of players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent ball retention, stable drive shots
    • High elasticity for a 5-ply blade
    • Versatile for all techniques (drive, smash, short game)
    • Improved grip comfort with LG size
    • Rich spin potential, ideal for spin-oriented play
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveBall retention is excellent, making backhand drives stable. Even with aggressive rubber, it maintains good speed with great compatibility. Capable of executing all techniques including drives, smashes, and short strokes at high levels.
▽ CriticalBall retention may be too good, sometimes causing net drops on backhand shots. Lacks penetrating power; recommended for players relying on spin-based play.

Impact pride (Experience: 4〜5 years) Best dwell among Ma Long's rackets

      Player reviews

I'm usually not a 5-ply guy, but I think this one is pretty solid. I normally use an inner blade for the "hold" feel, but this one holds the ball so much that on the backhand it can easily drop into the net. It grips the ball so well that it doesn't feel like it pushes forward. The forehand topspin drive generates a lot of spin and can easily induce block errors, but it doesn't have the power to blast through, so I'd recommend it to players who win with spin rather than power.

Madness Turbo Orange (Experience: 4〜5 years) Stable two-winged topspin drive

      Player reviews

I used to use the Zhang Jike ALC, but since my backhand drive isn't great, the ball would fly off before I could put spin on it, so I switched to the Ma Long 5, which has better ball grip.
As expected, the good grip on the ball made my backhand drive more stable. Also, I think it's on the bouncier side among 5-ply blades, so even with Hurricane on it you still get decent speed, and I think it pairs really well with Hurricane.

Handles every technique — topspin drives, smashes, stops, you name it — without any weak points.

      Alexandra (Experience: 6〜10 years) Very well-balanced 5-ply

      Player reviews

The normal grip was too thin for me, so I bought this one instead.
If you're a man, I'd definitely recommend this version instead.

Topspin drives, smashes, the short game, and serves are all at least an 80 out of 100 in terms of ease of use.
You don't need to force yourself to stick with special-material blades — I think using this one will help you improve faster and make you more stable in matches.

      Definitely give it a try.

Iwai of Nitaku Mania (Experience: 6〜10 years)

      Player reviews

I use the normal Ma Long 5 as my backup. Even after using this blade for a long stretch, I felt zero discomfort switching back to holding the normal Ma Long 5. That said, this one feels more natural in my hand. It's easier to generate speed and power with this blade.
