      I got so curious about this blade
      that I had someone import it for me.
      Honestly,
      my reaction was more like "hmm??"
      The forehand and backhand aren't completely separate,
      so while the forehand does feel softer, it's not purely as hard as a typical ALC — it's a bit harder than that.
      That said, the backhand isn't quite as hard as a typical ZLC either, it's a bit softer.
      If ALC's bounce is a 7
      and ZLC's is a 10,
      then it feels like forehand is 8 and backhand is 9 —
      like each side is borrowing a bit of the other's special material.

      Personally,
      I prefer a forehand that doesn't fly too much
      and a backhand that flies well,

      so I felt the forehand flew a bit too much for my taste,
      though that might partly be because I'm used to ALC.

      For better or worse, the two sides interfere with each other.
      So this isn't really a blade for someone who ends up thinking "I like ALC on the forehand but I want the ZLC feel on the backhand!!"

      I think that's probably because the overall construction of this blade lets the two sides influence each other quite a bit.

      Still, I could get plenty of spin for an outer blade,
      and it has speed too,
      so performance-wise it's a good blade.

      This is a review of a big blade called the Ice Cream AZXpro.
      I used it with ALC on the forehand and ZLC on the backhand. First, the forehand flies quite a lot. Part of that is because it uses the "kage" carbon construction, but without a good amount of swing-through power, the ball comes out flat. Considering the thickness of the blade, it felt like it flew more than expected. On the backhand side it's very strong for aggressive tactics like counters and topspin drives, and it's also easy to play the short game. The forehand makes counters easy too, so tacky rubber might suit my style of play. Since German rubbers, tacky rubbers, and Butterfly rubbers all seem to pair well with it, Dignics 05 on the forehand could also be an option. I felt this is a blade that's demanding of the player's movement, whether hitting flat and direct or drawing more of an arc.

      Leaving Tenergy as a believer (Experience: ２〜３ years) You won't regret buying it!

      Unlike a conventional outer blade, this one is distinctive for having different special carbon materials built into each side.
      The Z side is known for good ball-holding, while the A side produces a more direct, straight-line trajectory.
      The forehand side of this blade pairs really well with a relatively soft, spin-friendly rubber like Tenergy 05 that basically puts the spin on for you!
      I used that combination before and won matches like crazy.
      On the backhand side I use a hitting/blocking style with contact, so for anyone who plays that way I'd recommend a harder rubber.

      I used the A side on my forehand and the Z side on my backhand. Compared to Butterfly's outer ALC, the bounce feels more restrained. In particular, the backhand Z side has good ball-holding feel even though it's an outer blade. Even with Dignics rubber, an outer blade can sometimes release the ball too fast and lose spin, but this blade grips the ball firmly and produces powerful spin with a good arc.
      What impressed me most was the grip — it's perfectly easy to swing through. Not just the width, but the thickness gradually tapers from the grip end to the base, so you don't have to worry about it slipping even without gripping hard.
      If you use outer blades but want more stability, yet don't like the feel of inner blades, definitely give this one a test hit.
