      I honestly feel like, what's even different from the Mark V, lol. For chops, the ball slips so you don't get much spin, and for drives, compared to tension rubbers it barely bounces at all... Unless you want to learn the feel of putting spin on the ball, or you're just attached to this particular rubber, it's probably not suited to modern table tennis. It might also be useful as a practice tool if nobody on your team uses a high-bounce rubber, lol
      It's a beginner's rubber for polishing your feel for putting spin on the ball!

      It's very easy to control, so pushes are easy to do! Flicks and other techniques are also very easy, so I'd recommend it for beginners! However, the spin on serves is a bit lacking. Also, it's not a rubber that bounces very much. Drives go in consistently!

      Unlike tension rubbers, this rubber tends to curl up, so it's hard to put on a blade. I think people who peel it off and reattach it often would really dislike that.
      Performance-wise, it feels like an all-around, no-quirks rubber suited for topspin drives. Compared to recent spin-oriented tension rubbers, the ball doesn't go up much at all when driving, but it grips the ball well so it stays consistent. Also, personally I felt it was a bit on the hard side. Because of that, I thought it was about as good as it gets for spin-generating techniques over the table, like pushes. However, it doesn't fly much on serves, so I often couldn't clear the net, and especially with the plastic ball, I couldn't get vertical spin on it, so it didn't suit me. On the other hand, it might be good for people whose short serves often go off the end of the table.

      For beginner to intermediate players, I think this is such a well-balanced rubber that it's unlikely to feel completely wrong for you. That said, the sponge can feel a bit on the harder side, so if you're used to softer rubbers, you might feel like the ball doesn't sink in enough. Because of that, when you hit more of a meet shot, you can produce really good shots, so personally I'd recommend it for the forehand. I actually have it on my backhand though lol
