In Rakza 7 Soft the top sheet is the same as for Rakza 7. The sponge is softer which gives the rubber more sound and built-in speed glue effect. With Rakza 7 Soft the control characteristics are improved. After hitting the ball with top spin the curve of the ball is slightly higher, giving little bit bigger margins in the game. In the short return play, the ball feel is better.

Above all, it's easy to use.
As a beginner, if you're stuck on what to put on your backhand, this is a safe choice.
The short game is easy to do, and it's easy to get spin on.

I bought it because of the "Rakza for spin" reputation, but it was a bit too soft and didn't suit me.
It doesn't really have a standout trait, but I think it would be good for someone still learning a variety of techniques.

Loop drives feel stable.
Speed drives are doable, but overall there's not much power.

This time I put it as thick on both my forehand and backhand. I felt like this is an ideal rubber for someone who plays a more defensive style of table tennis like me. Just like the name suggests, the sheet grips strongly and you get a huge amount of spin. And chop-block drives really cut well. Serves, pushes, stops and the like also cut well the same way. And they stop dead. But even though the ball stops, that doesn't mean it lacks speed — energy loss is also low.
It might not be the best fit for someone who attacks with heavy topspin drives, but for someone with a playing style like mine, it becomes a powerful ally. The hardness is about the same as, or a little harder than, Rigan Spin. Please give it a try!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Even though it's called "Soft," it's actually not all that soft, so you can use it normally on the forehand too.
If you're using a blade with special materials, it gives a good balance that matches any playing style.

Rakza 7 SoftI'm in my 30s, a beginner who plays with friends once a week
Bought this because I wanted to learn the backhand drive and prioritized stability
When I first bought it I didn't really understand the feel of brushing versus meeting the ball, but after about 4 months of use I developed a feel for hitting the ball thickMeeting the ball with a thick, flat-ish hit for the drive is really easy to do
It gets good spin and draws an arc, so it goes in reliably
The spin is well-mannered, so it feels like the opponent can return it easily too
Rather than finishing points in one shot, it's more about working the course and changing pace during ralliesBoth the serve and the drive don't show their strengths unless you meet the ball and hit it thick
It goes well with the wide swing of a penhold sidespin-and-backspin serve
No problems with pushes or stops eitherIt can't beat rubbers specialized for speed or spin, but it's a solid all-rounder that does everything decently
It's a good rubber for beginners to learn the feel of meeting the ball and hitting it thick
