    In Rakza 7 Soft the top sheet is the same as for Rakza 7. The sponge is softer which gives the rubber more sound and built-in speed glue effect. With Rakza 7 Soft the control characteristics are improved. After hitting the ball with top spin the curve of the ball is slightly higher, giving little bit bigger margins in the game. In the short return play, the ball feel is better.

      First of all, being soft is its defining trait.

      Also, it takes on a good amount of spin.

      The one weakness is maybe that the ball doesn't carry through past a certain point on impact.

      Katsukiraman Wraps the ball, then into the spin abyss

      When hitting a forehand drive, that feeling of the ball melting and wrapping around the rubber becomes addictive. This creates a subtle effect where you drive into the ball yourself, which boosts your control.

      The ball favors spin over speed. It makes the opponent overshoot their blocks again and again.

      I'd recommend it for anyone who wants spin and usability over speed. I think even beginner to intermediate players can handle it without trouble.

      Used on the backhand.
      The performance is good for the price.
      It was a bit too soft for me personally.
      When I lent it to a friend, they said it was really good.
      If you're on the fence, I think this rubber is a safe buy.

      I have it on the reverse side of my penhold blade.
      The serve gets spin and, being soft, it's stable too.
      It's an all-around rubber that's easy to use for drives, blocks, and meeting the ball.

      Used on the reverse side of a Chinese-style penhold blade. It's easy to sink the ball into, so even backhand beginners can easily hit backhand drives. If you swing with the image of standing the blade up and driving into the ball, you can draw a nice arc and it's stable. That said, the short game is hard to do.

      Since it's soft and not tacky, it's not very affected by the opponent's spin.
      Because of that, the maximum spin isn't that high, but you still get a decent amount.
      For anyone who wants stability and prefers working the course over going for a finishing shot, I'd definitely recommend it.

      Since starting table tennis in my first year of junior high, I've used Rakza 7 and Rakza 7 Soft, and Rakza has become the rubber I always put on either my forehand or backhand. It's cheap too, and backhand drives are easy to do. It also lasts a long time, so I only need to replace it every 3-4 months, and even as a beginner myself, it's easy to handle. I'd be so happy if they made a colored version of this rubber...
