This is an all-around rubber that made me realize that no matter how expensive or high-performance a rubber is, it means nothing if you can't actually use it well. After trying all sorts of rubbers, I finally landed on this one, lol

I borrowed this from a senior in my club and used it.
In a word, it's the ultimate balanced rubber. First, the speed is decent — not amazingly fast, but it flies properly in proportion to your swing.
Spin is average; it does get spin, but not that strongly. That said, it's incredibly easy to put spin on. I normally use tacky rubber myself, and when my form breaks down I end up hitting floaters, but with this rubber that happened much less.
I think the biggest strength of this rubber is its consistency. The hardness is 47.5, but the feel doesn't seem that hard. The sheet really grips the ball, which makes it very easy to hit. It doesn't fly too much and still gets spin, so it's very stable.
It feels a bit like taking the feel of Super Ventus, softening it slightly, dialing back the spin and speed just a touch, and boosting the consistency instead.

Used for attacking play.
Even though it's on the hard side, I could still hit stable drives.
Stops and things like that stay put nicely too.

It's stable enough that even an attacking-style player can chop with it!
Just like it says in the 2019 catalog, the chops really bite!

A while after I started playing table tennis, I bought this to move up from Hammond.
The hardness is 47.5, so I expected it to be hard, but when I actually used it, it was surprisingly soft and easy to use. The balance of speed and spin is excellent, so I'd recommend it to choppers too. Just one thing to watch out for: the surface scratches easily and doesn't last long, so pay attention to when you need to replace it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I switched from being a chopper to a drive player, and I don't think this rubber suits choppers. Drives grip really well, but for chopping — maybe it's just my lack of skill — the ball tends to pop up a lot, so I don't think it's very well suited for that.

I think this makes it easier to pick up the skills a chopper needs. What characterizes this rubber is that it's not too hard and doesn't bounce much. Beginner attacking players and choppers alike will probably be unsure what to switch to from a low-bounce rubber at first. I'd want players struggling with that to try this at least once.
For choppers, I'd suggest the forehand; for attacking players, I'll leave it up to you whether to put it on the forehand or backhand, but I think it's easy to play with on either side. And for choppers, I'd especially recommend the sharpness of the chops. It doesn't have as much spin as a tacky rubber or Tenergy, but it still has a bounce level that's friendly to beginners.
For a chopper choosing an inverted rubber, the first point is that the chop shouldn't die out and lose bounce, and the second is whether it bounces properly on offense. Vega Asia isn't too hard and doesn't bounce too much, so I'd really recommend it to players who want to combine chopping and attacking to trouble their opponents, or who want to boost their attacking power.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
