I used it on both sides, and my drives, pushes, and even chiquitas, which are a bit tricky, all landed solidly and consistently. I'm a beginner, but I felt like this is an excellent rubber that advanced players could use too.

I used this rubber again after a while, and yeah, it's still easy to use and high-performing. The sheet grips the ball so well that driving against backspin is super easy. The spin is solid too, and the short game, like pushes, isn't bad either. The only thing that feels a bit lacking is speed, but aside from that I have no complaints - it has few quirks, and I think anyone can pick it up easily. Performance and price-wise, it's about on par with Yasaka's Rigan. If you're thinking of buying a mid-priced tension rubber that doesn't quite deliver, I'd recommend Vega instead. It's not too heavy either, so it should pair well with pretty much any blade.

Perfect if you're moving on from high-bounce rubbers! I use the max thickness on my forehand. It's not as strong on spin as the DF, but it has speed, so it's better suited for the forehand!

Really good.
The hardness felt like it was somewhere between the Pro and Europe versions.
Not too soft, not too hard - I could hit hard shots solidly, and it was easy to get spin on my drives too.
Intermediate players and above can handle it without any trouble. I can highly recommend it for both forehand and backhand.

I had it on my backhand, but it performs plenty well whether you put it on your forehand or backhand. Basically, it can do everything. Pushes, drives, blocks, even chops - there wasn't really any technique that felt hard to pull off.
From beginners to advanced players, anyone can use it easily, and the price is approachable too.

Vega Europe on the backhand.
I made it to the round of 5 at the national junior high championships using this rubber.
Recommended.

Used on the backhand of a shakehand blade (1.8mm).
I'd been trying all kinds of backhand rubbers - tacky ones, high-end models, you name it - and ended up here, with this rubber that bounces just the right amount and spins just the right amount, making it really easy to use.
Since the sponge is thin at 1.8mm, I liked that instead of losing offensive power, my defensive skills and the stability of my connecting shots improved dramatically.
That's not to say it has no offense, though - because I use a bouncy blade, my hard shots still have speed, and since the top sheet is soft, it grips the ball well, so I get plenty of spin on my drives.
A junior from my university days told me, "Senpai, those high-end rubbers you use are expensive and don't last long - if you're an intermediate player, Vega is plenty. Rather than a high-end rubber you can't fully use, something easy to handle where you can use 100% of what it offers is enough for an intermediate player," so I gave it a try.
Whatever it lacks in raw speed, you can make up for with your blade and body when you swing.
For anyone who's gotten used to competitive table tennis, I think using this rubber and forming your own opinion of it can work as a benchmark - a way to figure out whether you want more spin or more speed, what kind of equipment is really "what I want."All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
