I put the 2.0 thickness on my forehand. On serves, it doesn't grip the ball much, more of a snappy chop feel. On drives, whether speed drive or loop, you can get a heavy ball with plenty of spin. The loop especially gets absolutely ridiculous spin. Part of it is that my forehand feel is good, but I never really struggle in the short game either. If I had to name a downside, it's hard and the ball leaves quickly, so blocking is difficult...

This review is based on using it on both forehand and backhand.
On the forehand, if you're used to modern spin-oriented tension rubbers, I think you'll find it lacking. For its hardness, it doesn't grip much spin, and the speed felt mediocre too, so I don't think it'll cut it for intermediate players and above, male or female.
On the backhand, it handles pretty much every technique at a decent level and feels easy to use overall. I'd recommend it for intermediate to advanced players looking for stability on the backhand.
Value-for-money-wise it's unbeatable, but in today's fast-evolving equipment scene, I think it's a tough sell performance-wise.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Suited for the forehand. On the backhand it's a bit of a handful. The grip on the ball is beyond complaint, so if you're someone who goes on the attack from the backhand, it should hold up fine there too.

Being on the hard side, it was harder to control, but in exchange it gave high speed and a lot of spin. So I'd recommend it for someone with power, like a middle schooler who lifts weights (me) or high schoolers and above.

Using this on my forehand. After Tenergy's price hike, I tried out various spin-oriented rubbers, and switched to this one because I liked the spin performance and how long it lasts. Flat hits and blocks, which were hard when I used Tenergy 05, are easier with this, and it's a good rubber that puts on spin at a level not far behind the 05.

Vega Pro is obviously great for guys, but if you pair it with a softer blade and have the arm for it, I'd recommend it for women players too! When a player who can really swing uses it, the ball gets noticeably heavy, so I especially want women players who are after more spin to try it.
Unlike something like Fastarc G1, where the power comes from the rubber flying the ball automatically, here your actual skill shows through, so if you're a guy who likes a hard rubber, definitely give it a try!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
