I started out using it on my backhand, but it turned out to be surprisingly good on the forehand too, so this review covers both sides.
First, serves — it pairs great with reverse-motion (wraparound) serves. If you really let the ball sink in as you wrap around, you can get way more spin on the serve than you'd expect.
On the forehand, topspin drives go in consistently with a satisfying sound.
However, brushing/spin-heavy drives didn't generate that much spin and felt a bit lacking. It's really good for scoring by letting the ball sink in and driving to a specific spot.
On the backhand, it's less affected by the opponent's spin compared to spin-oriented rubbers, so both counters and blocks are easy to do.
For the short game, on either forehand or backhand, I felt this rubber isn't really its strong suit.
Overall, the raw amount of spin isn't especially high, but I think it's an all-around rubber with a refreshing sense of speed.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

First time using this and I was surprised by a sound I'd never heard before on a hard hit!
I figured it would be German-made, but when I opened it up it turned out to be made in Japan. I didn't have a great image of Japanese-made rubbers, but this one defied my expectations in a good way. The topsheet is soft, so I put it on my backhand, and the speed and control were fantastic. Even on the forehand, the topspin drive felt great in terms of spin and power. It's probably down to my own skill, but soft rubbers seem to suit my forehand better, so this one actually works for me on the forehand. If you often sink the ball into the sponge for flat hits and topspin drives, I think it works on the forehand too. The topsheet grips well, so it can handle a brushing stroke too, but it doesn't produce much speed that way.

This is an interesting rubber with an incredibly soft feel and great grip on the ball.
It's not just about drawing a nice arc — depending on the racket angle you can also produce a fast, driving ball that jams the opponent, so it's perfect for anyone looking for variety in their shots. That goes for defense like blocking too, not just attacking with topspin drives. Over the table, it's easier to play aggressively with flicks than to play delicately.
Finally, its biggest feature: the sound. This is an essential part of what makes this rubber what it is.

Wait, it sinks in that much?!
That was my first reaction the moment I hit with it.
Unlike the rubber I'd been using before, this one grips the ball, sinks in, and just feels great to hit with.

STIGA has produced plenty of legendary blades, but they also make rubbers.
What's notable is that, unlike the German-made rubbers that are so common these days, many of theirs are made in Japan.
Lately you see German rubbers a lot even at small local tournaments, but overseas, STIGA's Japan-made rubbers like the Calibra also seem to be popular, which makes me a little happy as a Japanese player.
As for the actual performance, it really has no quirks when you hit with it. The ball doesn't fly up too high or go dead straight — it goes exactly where your racket angle and brushing direction send it.
The sponge lives up to the "Sound" name — it's soft and you can really feel the ball sink into it.
That said, it's not a mushy, power-losing rubber — the topsheet feels taut and holds up fine against the opponent's spin.
It's not a spin-oriented tension rubber, so the spin isn't huge, but it's easy to hit flat with and stays calm and predictable in the short game.
Even though the spin is on the lower side, you can still generate plenty by adjusting your contact and brushing angle, so I think it works fine on the backhand or reverse side for intermediate players and above.
It's not cheap, but I'd recommend it to anyone looking for balance and ease of use in a rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

First off, just like the name suggests, it makes a sound.
On the forehand, drives where you let the ball sink in before hitting work well. For serves, backspin didn't come out that strongly, but with a reverse-motion serve you can put on enough topspin to get outright service aces. On the backhand, chiquita is really easy to do. Stops can also be held firmly. Because the grip on the ball is strong, backhand drives still went in even when I dropped the contact point later than usual. This is just my personal preference, but I felt this rubber shows its full potential when paired with a blade that holds the ball well.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's a medium-hardness rubber, but if you asked me honestly which one I'd actually use between this and Airoc, I'd probably pick this one. Considering trajectory, speed, and spin, it comes out ahead in every respect. A high-spec rubber that even top players use.
