EVOLUTION EL-P is the most elastic rubber of the EVOLUTION rubber series. EL-P with its medium sponge perfectly fits in between the harder MX-P or MX-S and the softer FX-P and thus completes the EVOLUTION series.
The selected pimple geometry of the elastic EL-P does not even come close to the other EVOLUTION versions in terms of spin and speed. Very precise and powerful strokes can be realised at half distance or at the table.
EVOLUTION EL-P: chosen by most of the Topspin players for whom the MX version is too hard and the FX version too soft, however putting the emphasis on rotation and power.

Spin bites really well and it's easy to play the short game with too. It's been a while since I found a rubber that satisfies intermediate to advanced players, so I'm happy about it (๑ ᴖ ᴑ ᴖ ๑)

Last time I talked about the rubber's sheet and sponge, so this time I want to talk about what I liked after actually using it. I put max thickness on my forehand and thick on my backhand, by the way. For serves, sidespin was really easy to produce. Backspin was a bit harder to put on. On receive, my pushes come out really sharp! For topspin drives, you can hit with the ball sinking in, but I found that brushing the ball gives you more speed and spin. It's stable, and more consistent than the Vega Europe DF I used before.

Used on the forehand. The rubber is a bit on the hard side (I chose the harder option), and for a 45-degree sponge it's quite heavy. It lasts a long time — a Fastarc turned white for me in two weeks, but the EL-P still had plenty of spin left even after more than three months.
Basic strokes... forehand hits already produced Tenergy-level spin. When you drive, the ball comes off slowly and doesn't bounce much, so you can actually get more spin than Tenergy. Pushes gave, exactly as expected, a ridiculous amount of spin. I figured this must mean you could chop with it too, and when I tried, it went in low with tremendous spin, shot after shot.
From the serve... serves also spin like crazy, so you can steer the point into your ideal pattern. It's great through the third ball, but once it turns into a rally, the lack of bounce puts you at a disadvantage.
Overall... the amount of spin is ridiculous, but speed and bounce are lacking, so I'd recommend an outer-ply blade. With an inner-ply or all-wood blade, the spin catches too much and the ball comes off too slowly, which actually makes it harder to handle (especially for beginners or people without much wrist strength). Not many people can even handle an outer-ply blade with this, so considering the blade too, I think this is usable from intermediate level up (10+ years of experience, top prefectural level or higher).All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

You get what you pay for! Both the spin and speed you can generate are amazing. You get spin whether you sink the ball in or just brush it! It doesn't slip at all — the easiest shot to pull off is the flat hit. Just twist your wrist a little on the racket and the ball drives low and deep into the court. The downsides are the price, the weight, and maybe how niche it is? Pair it with an inner carbon blade and, if you can keep it under control, you can get the absolute most out of it.

Thanks to the hard, extremely grippy, slightly tacky topsheet, its spin performance is comparable to Tenergy. Of course topspin drives get spin, but the amount of spin on serves, pushes, and stops is tremendous too. It suits a spin-focused playing style. The sponge is moderately soft, so blocking is easy and attacks stay stable. It also lasts longer than other tension rubbers, making it an ideal rubber for average players up through intermediate level.
