Since 05FX works well on my backhand, I used the 80 on my forehand, and what really stands out is the balance. Breaking it down by category:
Spin: If you really dig the ball into the sponge, it grabs a ton.
Speed: Feels a little lacking, but it's satisfying enough in normal play.
Control: Depends on your technique, but it does feel like it goes where you aim.
Trajectory: Draws a nice solid arc, and as long as you don't go too soft, it's not easy for your opponent to counter.
Distance: Still bounces well even from away from the table.
Short game: You can stop the ball firmly, and you can also play it deep.
Counter: If you time it right, you can produce a sharp shot.
Serve: Spin feels a bit lacking if you brush it lightly, but on fast serves and long serves, both speed and spin are excellent.
I also think it works well for choppers.

I used to run the 80 on my backhand, but it was too hard and I couldn't swing my backhand with confidence.
When I tried this rubber instead, it was a perfect match.
Aside from clearly lacking power on the forehand and being pricey, it's a really great rubber.

I put this on my third-grade son's forehand.
He can get good control, speed, and spin on it, so the ball arcs in consistently and lands on the opponent's side.
Even a third grader can produce that distinctive metallic 'ping' sound this soft rubber makes when he really puts spin on it.
I'm extremely happy with it.
It's light and soft, so I think it's a rubber that not just juniors and women players but all players would love.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I put Tenergy on my forehand for the first time.
People around me say that if you're going to put on Tenergy, you should go with the 05,
but my personal impression is that maybe because of the FX sponge, it felt easy to use even as a first-timer.

The control was already really good with the 80, but it got even better. The 80 was a rubber you could use on both forehand and backhand, but the FX lacks power on the forehand. I'd recommend it for the backhand.

Currently using it on my backhand. It's made entirely in Japan and is one of the top-tier rubbers out there.
The balance between spin and speed is very good. I especially love the "FX" sponge.
My chiquita and backhand drive, which I used to struggle with, feel like they've leveled up even further.
The ball carries through, and on blocks it adds even more power.
The one downside is the lifespan of about one to two months. It would be ideal if it were priced so you could replace it often.

If you're moving from a normal tension rubber like Roundell to a spin-oriented tension rubber, this is probably the best choice. Honestly, when hitting close to the table, I don't feel much difference from Roundell.
But when you take a step back, add spin, and really send the ball flying, you're blown away by the difference from Roundell in every respect — spin, speed, distance, you name it. It's enough to make you feel like you got better just from changing rubbers.
That said, since it's soft, you lose power easily when you hit with a strong impact. It's not suited to the forehand of a player with a lot of power.
Also, it's a rubber that sinks the ball in and sends it flying on its own, so serves and receives are difficult.
