The grip is hollow inside, so the weight is head-heavy, but since it's not too heavy overall, the swing-through is smooth and it's easy to put spin on the ball.
It has a distinctive resonance, so opinions on it might be split.
The balance between ball-holding and rebound is nice — I felt a big difference in bounce between a delicate touch shot and a hard smash.
The way it lets you control power, soft or strong, is excellent.

I've been using STIGA blades for about 15 years, and compared to wood 5-ply blades like the Intensity, Emerald, and Rosewood, you can really tell the hitting sound and the feel in your hand are completely different! I have short pips on my forehand, Chinese-penhold style, and after reading a bunch of reviews before buying, I'm now using it and it lives up to its reputation! Speed and distance have changed quite a bit with the switch to plastic balls, but the Clipper's grip has a distinctive shape, with a bit of weight up front, so you can hit through solidly! It produces speed you wouldn't expect from such a gentle feel! I'm having a lot of fun practicing!

I had inverted rubber on both sides, and it felt very light.
The bounce is nothing special. Blocking is easy with it though.

It's hard to notice while you're using it,
but once you try a different blade, I think you'll realize how good the feel on this one is. Especially with meet-hitting,
it has a wonderful sense of stability
that other blades don't have.
When I want to hold back, it stays controlled, and when I want to drive through, it gives me real
speed — I think it's a wonderful

Chinese-penhold blade, 86g on its own.
The weight is head-heavy, so even with rubber on both sides it's easy to swing through.
The hollow grip resonates just the right amount in your hand for a really pleasant feel. The blade itself is on the harder side, so if you use a soft rubber that lets the ball sink in, I think you can generate real power!
I'd recommend it to anyone confident in their timing on impact!
It also bounces more than most 7-ply blades, so blocking takes some getting used to, but with a soft rubber the stop and flick absorb the ball nicely, making them very easy to execute.

I had long pips on my backhand. My style was aggressive forehand drives and counters.
It holds up well in rallies and drives/counters are easy to pull off, but the arc on loop drives is low, which made it tough against choppers.
Also, I didn't like how much the shock traveled to my hand on impact, so I switched to an Innerforce Layer ZLC. That one has comparable speed and control, and it grips spin way better.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

The first time I touched it, the grip had a rough, woody texture, and since it was my first STIGA blade it felt a little strange, but once you get used to it, it's easy to use. Because of the WRB construction it feels heavy when you hold it, but it's actually not that heavy.
Speed, spin, and control are all at a high level, and especially with a flicking-style stroke, the WRB gives it tremendous power. I think it would suit someone using short pips on the backhand.This time, considering the weight balance, I used a medium sponge thickness, and the feel is hard — but it doesn't have that quick ball-release, fast-flying sensation, so I get the impression a slightly softer rubber, or a sponge thicker than "thick," would suit it better.
There's no technique that feels hard to execute with this, so it's a really well-rounded, high-completion blade. I'd recommend it to intermediate players and above.
