All new for 2015 is the Nittaku Fastarc P-1! Solely designed for the polyurethane ball, this rubber has the best of all worlds from Nittaku's most popular and best selling rubber series - the Fastarc! Designed for close, mid & far distance play from the table it has the same soft strong sponge that has made the Fastarc Series of rubbers a fast, spinny and powerful rubber yet easy to control. The sponge uses the same medium hardness as the Fastarc G-1 but is super lightweight at 37.5 degrees. The pimple diameter is the same as the Fastarc S-1 and the gap between the pimples is slightly larger than the Fastarc C-1. The Nittaku Fastarc P-1 is for the player that wants to create spin, speed, power & precision while creating artistic shots!

It performs well enough that I don't understand why it's so under-the-radar. The spin is slightly weaker than G-1's, but in exchange it's easier to flick the ball off and it produces speed more readily. Depending on your playing style, I think this rubber can outperform G-1. I'd recommend it to players who use a lot of flick/hit shots.

I use G-1 on my forehand and P-1 on my backhand.
I used to run P-1 on my forehand too, but it suits my backhand better, so for now I think I'll stick with this setup without changing equipment...
On paper the arc is lower than G-1's, but it can surprisingly produce a high arc too, and I think it's easier to control than G-1.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is a rubber that really tests your own ability. It's about as easy to handle as they come, but I get the feeling it'll clearly suit some players and not others.

It's a fast, easy-to-use rubber that's easy to hit even from far off the table. It's a bit pricey though, so it's fine if you have some money to spare, but I wouldn't really recommend it for beginners.

My first impression was the spin. When you hit a speed drive with it, you get insane shots that combine both spin and speed.
That said, once it turns into a rally, the speed inevitably drops off, making it harder to land a finishing shot. Serves bite really well, and knuckle serves were very easy to produce.
On the backhand side, the chiquita was insane. It got so much spin that opponents couldn't even take it.
It has so much bounce that I'm still hitting a lot of shots long.
Lastly, the thing I personally liked best was the counter. Just flicking it on the forehand produces tremendous speed.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I tried it on both my forehand and backhand. If you're after pure speed, I highly recommend this one. It also gets a decent amount of spin. I'd recommend using it on the backhand — even people who normally can't generate speed on the backhand will find it easy with this rubber. Definitely give it a try.

I guess this is one of those rubbers that really flies off the blade — it's pretty fast. I have it on my backhand, and at first both my chiquita and blocks were flying long and not landing, but you get used to it the more you use it.
