All new for 2015 is the Nittaku Fastarc P-1! Solely designed for the polyurethane ball, this rubber has the best of all worlds from Nittaku's most popular and best selling rubber series - the Fastarc! Designed for close, mid & far distance play from the table it has the same soft strong sponge that has made the Fastarc Series of rubbers a fast, spinny and powerful rubber yet easy to control. The sponge uses the same medium hardness as the Fastarc G-1 but is super lightweight at 37.5 degrees. The pimple diameter is the same as the Fastarc S-1 and the gap between the pimples is slightly larger than the Fastarc C-1. The Nittaku Fastarc P-1 is for the player that wants to create spin, speed, power & precision while creating artistic shots!

My drives just... fall short(ToT)
If you really sink the ball in, the drive spins like crazy
For serves, unless you sink the ball in, you don't get much spin
But if you sink it in, the spin is amazing
Pushing is easy, so
overall I'd say it's more of a backhand rubber — that's actually how I use it
The combo with G-1 feels great!Just my opinion

I thought this was an easy-to-use rubber in any part of the court. Both blocking and driving are easy with it. Topspin rallies from mid-distance were also easy to play. The only downside is that while it has speed, it doesn't generate that much spin.

Pushing is easy with this. It really grips the ball, so you get a decent amount of spin without trying too hard.
For backhand drives, I think you need a bit more strength at mid-distance.

It's listed as 37.5 degrees hardness, but it felt harder than that to me.
Unless you hit with a strong impact, it's hard to produce a shot with real spin and power.
Close-to-the-table brushing drives had less pace behind them than I expected.
I think this rubber makes the most of impact-focused drives and is strong in topspin rallies from mid-distance to away from the table.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I use this on my backhand.
I used to use G-1 but switched because I found it hard to block with.Compared to G-1, the spin is a bit weaker, but the trajectory tends to stay lower and it feels like it has more speed on it. Thanks to that, blocking is easier, and I've been able to turn things around more often even when I'm on the defensive.
Chiquita is quite easy to pull off and comes out really fast.If there's a downside, it's just that it's a hard rubber, so you need to vary your play with sharp contrast, but that didn't bother me much.

First off, if you're a drive-dominant player, I'd definitely recommend this for your backhand.
It really is close to a 25. The short-game control is godlike. The bounce isn't quite a 25 though, so close-to-the-table players (especially penholders) should really try it at least once.
Drive-style shakehanders don't get much arc out of it (not as much as Bryce), so I think it's best used to make up for backhand power, or flipped over for lobs.
The grip on the ball isn't as strong as G-1, so you can play without being affected by the opponent's spin. It suits players who like to take control of the rally and finish with a smash.
It doesn't bounce that much, so I think the best combo is a carbon blade with a hard top sheet — the kind of setup that was in Nittaku's 2016 catalog!

It's marketed as a rubber made for plastic balls, but honestly it doesn't match the spin and destructive power of the Fastarc G-1 - if it were better than the G-1, top players would be using it. But when it comes to ease of flat hitting, I think it beats the G-1! If you swing through with full confidence and smack it hard instead of holding back, it goes in solidly.
