All new for 2015 is the Nittaku Fastarc P-1! Solely designed for the polyurethane ball, this rubber has the best of all worlds from Nittaku's most popular and best selling rubber series - the Fastarc! Designed for close, mid & far distance play from the table it has the same soft strong sponge that has made the Fastarc Series of rubbers a fast, spinny and powerful rubber yet easy to control. The sponge uses the same medium hardness as the Fastarc G-1 but is super lightweight at 37.5 degrees. The pimple diameter is the same as the Fastarc S-1 and the gap between the pimples is slightly larger than the Fastarc C-1. The Nittaku Fastarc P-1 is for the player that wants to create spin, speed, power & precision while creating artistic shots!

This is my impression after trying a friend's. It flies incredibly far. Might be the blade's fault though.
Also, smashes and the like are definitely fast. You can hit smashes about as fast as with S-1.
It's written that Fastarc rubbers fly with a nice arc, but P-1 doesn't arc much at all. It comes out a lot flatter.
As for the drive, it's a proper Fastarc — it puts a good amount of spin on the ball.
But it feels more like a speed drive than a loop drive.
Overall, it feels like you get what you pay for. Also, my friend had it on the forehand, but I found it easier to use on the backhand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

A friend let me try this out, and my first impression was that it has speed and makes rapid-fire shots really easy.

Ultraman Drive (Experience: ６〜１０ years)

I put this on my backhand. It bounces like crazy, no matter what. The spin is solid, nothing special but it's there. Above all, where it really shows its power is on counters. With the plastic ball, the destructive power is incredible.

Before you buy this, of course I'll mention the good points, but I'll also write straight up about the bad points, since I think those will actually be more useful as a reference (everyone else just praises it lol)
Good points: You can hit fast drives with intense spin! Serves bite well too, and smashes are easy.
Blocking is fine as well. Personally, I thought it worked best on the forehand!
Problems: I felt like it was a bit hard to control. This is totally down to personal preference, but I
wasn't a big fan of the feel and bounce of Fastarc P-1. The feel is a bit hard, and it doesn't hold the ball much, which I didn't like.
Also, this might be my own technique's fault, but after switching to P-1 I felt like my overshoot misses clearly increased. It felt like the ball
bounced in a very straight line.
If the problems I mentioned don't bother you, I think it's just a really good rubber overall, so hopefully this helps.(＾＿＾)All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

It felt a bit on the soft side. When you hit a drive, the trajectory is low!
It looks really hard for the opponent to handle. It's easier to use than G-1, so I'd recommend it
to anyone making their Fastarc debut. Also, if you sink the ball in on a counter, it goes in nicely.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

SIMA 1st kouki (Experience: ２〜３ years) A speed-type(?) rubber with amazing control

A friend from my club switched to this, so I borrowed it and gave it a test hit.
First off, the drive has incredible stability. It comes off the rubber like a speed-type rubber with a low trajectory, but it still lands reliably on the table. The power doesn't quite match G-1, but the stability is a step above. Over the table it doesn't bounce too much, so you can control it well and play with confidence. Cutting a push short or brushing a flick are both easy too. For serves, it was easier to put spin on if you contacted the ball more directly. Smashes are affected a bit by the opponent's spin, but if you make solid contact, you can hit a sharp shot. Also, since the sheet is soft, it's easy to get distance, so mid-distance play works well too. It's a rubber that really lives up to Nittaku's concept.
This rubber is a bit soft with moderate bounce, so I'd recommend it to intermediate players who want to stabilize their forehand or backhand, or to anyone looking to move from speed-oriented rubbers to spin-oriented ones.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I had Spinart on my forehand and Fastarc P-1 on my backhand
It's very stable and easy to use
The spin is good too
Counters from away from the table are really easy to pull off
