In this rubber developed by Butterfly “microlayer” technology is used to enhance the grip at the ball contact.
The combination with the “High Tension” technology leads to greater rotation and pace than the previous BRYCE series.

TECHNOLOGY
The High Tension technology interweaves the molecules of various rubber material so that the rubber in contact with the ball contracted very intense. Thus, the ball gets a reinforced pulse.
18 years ago the first BRYCE flooring with High Tension technology has been brought to market. Since as long ago the Department of research works and development of Butterfly on refining this patented technology, the ability of the rubber material to speed development to increase still further.
The latest result of this research is Bryce HIGH SPEED which the ball higher speed gives as all other coverings developed to date.
THE NEW “MICROLAYER” TECHNOLOGY INCREASING SPEED AND ROTATION
Micro Layer vs Normal: Furthermore, a new achievement of the Butterfly research is processed in BRYCE HIGH SPEED: the technique of “microlayer”. In addition to the enormous speed the ball can be given upon contact also much rotation.
The flooring surface is remarkably thin. The pad is pressed in contact with the ball and the surface contracts. A high rotation is generated in tangential meeting place. It was deliberately chosen a simple nap structure, which optimizes the covering on speed.

First off, when I tried it, it was really fast, but it doesn't generate much spin, so if anything, I'd recommend using it on the backhand.

It's fast.
The topsheet is thin, so the feel was soft too.
However, my impression was that it doesn't generate much spin. The ball tends to feel light.

I really love it!
I usually keep re-gluing rubbers because I'm never quite satisfied with what I'm using, but trying this one really impressed me.
I normally replace rubber at least once every two months (including used ones), but I kept using this one for a whole year. In fact, I didn't replace it once in that entire year!
It still works even after it gets old. That said, it can develop strong tearing and the rubber itself can rip.
You won't regret buying it!

This is the fastest rubber I've had so far, but the topspin drive isn't great, and pushes actually come back slow with not much spin. Blocking is really fast, but hard to control. The speed is clearly excellent, which is great if you like flat hitting. I use this on the backhand of my penhold blade for a playing style built around a fast third-ball attack. It's a bit pricey, but it's perfect if speed is all you want.

Speed drives are just really easy to hit with this.
Blocking is so fast it turns into something like a counter.
But when it comes to loop drives, they tend to drop short.

It has speed, but doesn't generate much spin.
Overall, it's a rubber that falls short of Rozena.Topspin rallies from away from the table are pretty easy to do, but since there's no spin, you can only produce light shots. The speed is just a bit higher than Rozena's.
As for the ball's power, Rozena comes out on top.Your finishing speed drive is more likely to jam into the net than into your opponent's court, so this is better suited to players who rely a lot on smashes.

This flew even more than when I used Ventus Spin or Ventus Speed on the bounciest blade I have for penhold.
Right now I have Carl P-1 OX and High Speed on my penhold SWAT blade.
With two-sided rubber, whatever you attack with on the backhand has plenty of power, but with a single-sided penhold short/push, a lot of players force too much power into the push — even with only about 20% effort, just a quick short right after the bounce can generate enough firepower that opponents don't like receiving it.
It's also easy to push through with a knuckle ball that has no spin, so I think it's especially good for Japanese penhold.
If you use it on both sides with inverted rubber, the blade loses its rebound and the wood's character doesn't come through — the ball tends to sink in and the power might actually drop.
But if you put it on both sides of an originally super-hard blade, you can enjoy a feeling where the ball flies so much it barely stays on the table, which feels great.
