In this rubber developed by Butterfly “microlayer” technology is used to enhance the grip at the ball contact.
The combination with the “High Tension” technology leads to greater rotation and pace than the previous BRYCE series.
“BRYCE HIGH SPEED “is recommended for male and female players, the special emphasis on the clout and create a strongly curved trajectory of their balls.
TECHNOLOGY
The High Tension technology interweaves the molecules of various rubber material so that the rubber in contact with the ball contracted very intense. Thus, the ball gets a reinforced pulse.
18 years ago the first BRYCE flooring with High Tension technology has been brought to market. Since as long ago the Department of research works and development of Butterfly on refining this patented technology, the ability of the rubber material to speed development to increase still further.
The latest result of this research is Bryce HIGH SPEED which the ball higher speed gives as all other coverings developed to date.
THE NEW “MICROLAYER” TECHNOLOGY INCREASING SPEED AND ROTATION
Micro Layer vs Normal: Furthermore, a new achievement of the Butterfly research is processed in BRYCE HIGH SPEED: the technique of “microlayer”. In addition to the enormous speed the ball can be given upon contact also much rotation.
The flooring surface is remarkably thin. The pad is pressed in contact with the ball and the surface contracts. A high rotation is generated in tangential meeting place. It was deliberately chosen a simple nap structure, which optimizes the covering on speed.

I switched from Rasant V47 to boost my backhand speed.
It wasn't like light hits suddenly produced tremendous speed, but for blocking, you just match the opponent's drive and the speed comes out fine. Counters, though, were personally hard to time, and I often couldn't get the ball to sink in enough, so it hit the net.
For the short game, pushes and stops are manageable once you get used to it. Chiquita felt easy to do with both speed-oriented and spin-oriented styles.
Honestly, whether my overall play got dramatically faster is questionable.
For a player around intermediate level or below like me, it doesn't seem like using this guarantees you'll suddenly get tremendous speed.

Thanks to the micro-layer, the ball really sinks into the sponge.
The speed is no joke!
But even though it grips the ball so well, the sponge doesn't have much rebound, so the ball ends up feeling light.
On top of that, the speed isn't that different from the Fastarc S-1 (Bryce is slightly better), and since the S-1 is only 4000 yen, I'd recommend going with the Fastarc instead.
If you have some money to spare, though, the Bryce High Speed will probably leave you more satisfied.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I tried it on a friend's racket where the rubber was almost dead, and it was still really fast. There might have been some influence from the blade, but there was a bit of spin too. That said, I think it was more stable just hitting it flat like in a rally rather than brushing the ball.

I bought this because I heard it's really fast.
I used it with the Jun Mizutani ZLC, and maybe because the blade is soft, the overall feel was pretty soft.
And, I don't know, maybe it's just my lack of practice, but it didn't feel that fast to me and spin was hard to generate too.
Still, it has a lot of bounce and is fast in a normal sense. It might not exceed your expectations though.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The speed is amazing.
That said, it doesn't generate as much spin compared to others.
The ball feels light.
If you're going to pay 6000 yen, I think you're better off buying the Fastarc S-1 for 4000 yen instead.
I've used both, so I can say that.

The biggest feature of this rubber is that it's just fast.
Really fast. Smashes, topspin drives, everything is fast.
The trajectory is very flat, and just like with Spin Tension, if you hit a topspin drive it goes straight into the net (lol)
It doesn't generate that much spin either, so unless you get a clean winner, your shots tend to get blocked easily.
And the grip on the ball isn't that great, so Spin Tension users might find it lacking.It's also wild for the short game and blocking.
A normal block turns into a counter!I think it's good for anyone who's just chasing speed.
