Honestly, I was surprised.
I'd only used Butterfly and Nittaku rubbers up to now, but I wanted to try something from a different maker, so I gave the V15 Extra a shot.
The speed is incredible, and it feels great to hit with.
However, it does feel a little hard to control.

"This thing is fast!" was my first impression. It's softer than I expected, so techniques like brushing shots and driving into the ball for speed drives are easy to do. That said, the amount of spin is a bit lacking. If you back off the table, things like lobs are also hard to do. The trajectory is more straight-line than arced, so I think it's hard for opponents to read. Counters are the easiest thing to do with it. I'd only recommend it to people who play close to the table.

From the reviews, I thought it might be hard to use, but the drive is amazing, it's fast, it bounces well, it's really great. I like it a lot. I don't think there's anything to complain about.

At first I thought it would perform similarly to Fastarc G-1, so I tried switching to it, but it was different.
The spin on serves and pushes is plenty good.
The drive flew in a straight line rather than an arc.
I personally prefer my forehand drive to have an arc, so it wasn't quite right on the forehand, but on the backhand the short game was easy to do and it was very easy to use.
If you like hitting with a low, straight-line trajectory, I think it would also suit the forehand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Used max thickness on my forehand. When I test-hit it at the store, my drives kept dropping into the net and I couldn't handle it. When I first started using it, I'd also switched blades at the same time, so my drives noticeably went long a lot. I'd used Fastarc G-1 for a long time, and with the same stroke it wasn't going in consistently - but once I switched to the image of taking the ball right from the top, I started getting consistent, deep, low-trajectory shots. Also, it's not very sensitive to the opponent's spin, and since it's hard with a strong sheet, techniques I use a lot, like stops and pushes, and playful chop-block-style thin brushing techniques, are easy to do. That said, I feel the drive has less spin compared to the G-1. However, while with the G-1 I liked aiming loops that used spin to push the opponent's block long, with this one loops tend to land deep easily, which is nice for setting up an attack after cramping the opponent.

I think this rubber pairs well with an all-wood blade.
I felt like I could put good spin on my serves, and counters are easy to do.
However, control is difficult, but if you master it, counters and the like can become a real weapon.

Above all, the speed is fast, and it was really easy to use paired with an all-wood blade.
