It grips the ball so well you could almost call it a slightly-off inverted rubber. I switched to this from long pips, and I'd say it's right in between inverted and short pips!

Among short pips rubbers, I only know of a few that make driving this easy and this consistent. I'd say this is definitely one of them. On a shakehand blade, it's stable when used on the backhand.

This is for penhold, short pips. It's easy to attack in the short game, so I'd recommend it for the forehand. Serves spin normally too. You can drive with it as well. For short pips, it doesn't slip much.

I put this on an Arnaid blade.
It grips spin really well — I hit a loop drive and it actually wore down my opponent's rubber.
The speed is also top-notch — I hit a smash and the ball went straight through the skull of someone practicing on the table behind (lol).
This rubber has a distinctive sound when you hit it — every shot makes a low, "purse, purse" sound like a man's voice, so it might bother some people.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The balance between spin and speed is good, and it produces a decent amount of knuckle too.

This rubber gets extremely high praise from everyone, but personally, aside from the fast-off-the-rubber feel, I don't get much sense of it actually being short pips — if anything, it ends up feeling like inverted rubber that's hard to put spin on.

Pips-Out Drive Man (Experience: ６〜１０ years)

There's no other short pips rubber out there that generates this much spin. V>02 102 also spins well, but this one is more consistent. It doesn't spin as much as inverted rubber, of course, but for short pips it's top class.
