Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

Topspin drives come out with a high arc, and if you sink the ball into the sponge, the speed is second to none. For a brushing drive, you need a solid stance and a fast swing or the ball won't lift. With this rubber, unless you hit with a solid stance and swing, you won't get a good ball out of it. In other words, there's no faking it. I'd recommend this to players who can swing through firmly on every single ball.

This is a junior high schooler's opinion. As the title says, I use it on my backhand.
Push: doesn't pop up. You can send short balls back with ease.
Backhand drive: easy to land. Backhand drives off a push go in like crazy. It doesn't go in with a nice arc so much as with a satisfying "boom" sound, and before you know it, it's in.
Block: honestly, it seems to go in wherever you hit it.
Counter: easy. Doesn't pop up, just like the push.
Lifespan: lasts a normal 2 to 3 months.
Overall: people told me not to put it on my backhand at first, but now I think that was the right call. Someday I'd like to try it on my forehand too.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

My first impression when I hit with it was that it's a spin-oriented tension rubber that prioritizes consistency in rallies.
The trajectory tends to be a somewhat shallow ball with a fairly high arc.
Like Rakza 7 or Mark V, it's a rubber where you need to add your own power to send the ball out.
Its strengths include: it gets good spin, the short game is easy, you can do flat hits, and countering is easy — things like that.
As for weaknesses, if your form breaks down and you can't put a strong impact on the ball, it turns into a completely dead, spinless ball, and — this is partly down to my own skill too — it's hard to really put shots away.
Comparing it to Tenergy, it's closest to Tenergy 05 Hard. That said, it's not a super stiff rubber — like the Hard, it's easy to use for the short game and for grabbing the ball with a hooking stroke.
There's no blade in particular that clashes badly with it. Though it might be a bit off with a blade that releases the ball quickly, like the Galeidia... (since the sheet and sponge are hard).
I wouldn't recommend it for junior high schoolers. Use it once you've built up your switch-hitting, footwork, and strength.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

When I put it on a 5-ply all-wood blade, it got good spin and ball control was easy too. I'd say it suits an all-round style.

I think this is a good rubber that anyone from beginner to advanced can use. Top-level players might find it a bit lacking on the forehand, but for regular players it's just right.
Because this rubber grips the ball well, countering and chiquitas are very easy to do. I used to use Hui Long, a tacky rubber, on my backhand — Hui Long is more spin-focused, while the G-1 makes speed-focused chiquitas easier. That said, the G-1 still draws a solid arc, so the ball lands reliably on the table.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is a wonderful rubber. But you need a fair amount of strength to really make the most of it. I wouldn't recommend it to someone without much muscle to start with. Once you've built up strength and start feeling like a soft rubber slips when you hit it hard, that's when I'd recommend this one. The biggest strength of this rubber is, without question, the spin. Personally, when I get a good grip on the ball, the spin on my serves and drives beats Tenergy. It's also easy to use for flat hits and blocking. On the backhand, if you don't have enough strength you tend to strain your wrist when you snap it, but once you build up strength it becomes stable.

The G-1 really is different. I think it's better than using Tenergy. It's cheaper than Tenergy but gets just as much spin, and while it leans more toward forehand use, it works fine on the backhand too. Comparing it with the V15 Extra (V) and Fastarc P-1 (P), which are the same hardness and price, with G-1 as (G):
Spin (how easy to generate): G > P ≧ V
Spin (absolute amount): G ≧ P ≧ V
Speed: V ≧ P > G
G = spin, P = speed, V = speed + counter
