Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

The grip and the way the ball sinks in are amazing —
even in fast topspin rallies close to the table, it never slips, so you can hit with confidence.
On serves too, since the sponge is a little on the hard side, you can get a sharp, biting brush contact.
But if you want to sink the ball in, it sinks right in.
Maybe it doesn't fly quite as far?
Just as Mima Ito uses it on her forehand and
Masataka Morizono uses it on his backhand, it holds up well on both wings.
Blocking and countering are also easy,
and because it holds the ball well,
the block isn't razor-sharp, but
it has a feel of grabbing the ball firmly and then releasing it smoothly,
so you can return shots very consistently.

[Note] I use this rubber on my forehand, so this review is about the forehand.
First, speed — this really depends a lot on the blade. With an outer-carbon blade it's fast, and with an all-wood blade it's not slow, but not fast either.
As for spin, I'd say it gets quite a lot. It's also easy to vary how much power you put in. Topspin drives are quite easy too.
Control is neither particularly good nor bad.
For the short game, stops do stay short, but it's hard to judge how much force to use. Flicks come in easily as long as you're careful with the contact. Chiquitas let you put good spin on the ball, so they're easy to do.
If you can't decide on a rubber, I think you could do a lot worse than just going with this one. I don't think you'll regret it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

If you have enough power to really sink the ball into the sponge, you get incredible spin!
Loops get a ton of spin too!
On serves, if you rip a sharp backspin serve, the spin is so strong that even if the opponent pushes it back, it can catch the net.
Either way, the grip of the topsheet is amazing!
That said, it's on the harder side, so I'd say it's suited to intermediate to advanced players.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

*I've been using the Fastarc G-1 on my forehand! The G-1 is perfect on both speed and spin.
The one downside is how stable the blocks are.
Since it's hard, it bounces off easily, and against players who put a lot of spin on the ball you have to adjust your racket angle or it'll fly off — but as long as you keep that in mind, it's no problem.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is Nittaku's flagship spin-oriented tension rubber. Compared to other makers' flagship rubbers, it doesn't fly as far. In exchange, it balances spin and pop-off speed really well. On the forehand, rather than ripping through a backspin ball with a powerful drive, it's better suited to building up with loops and finishing with a smash. Because of the spin and the way it pops the ball off, I felt you need to clearly distinguish between connecting shots like loops and full-power hits.
On the backhand, despite the hardness, it doesn't carry that far, so you get sharp, low-trajectory drives. Blocks also stay on the table without getting pushed off. Compared to the forehand, it seems less particular about how you swing.
As someone who used to fine-tune equipment with a chuck back in the day, the high spin performance and the fact that it doesn't fly as far as other rubbers are both very appealing to me.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Overall it's easy to handle.
I had some overshoot misses, but that's probably down to my own skill.
Forehand: consistent, gets spin
Backhand: consistent, and gets solid spin too
Chiquita: consistent, gets spin
Push: doesn't pop up much
Topspin drive: gets both speed and spin on forehand and backhand
Overall, it's easy to use across the board. I think it suits anyone, with any blade.

The grip on the ball is strong, and
the spin it produces off that grip is quite something.
It handles every kind of topspin drive, as well as flat hits and smashes.
It also makes it easy to build an attack straight off the serve.
The ball comes out with real sharpness rather than just raw speed, so from the opponent's side it feels like a heavy, pressuring ball.
The hardness and weight of the rubber might be the downside.
Also, since the ball carries a long way, controlling the depth (long vs. short) is a bit difficult.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard
