Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

These are my impressions from using it on my forehand.
It handles every kind of play competently. This rubber is lighter than other hard rubbers, so I felt that made it easier to control. A rubber like Tenergy that's light but still gives you speed really is great, isn't it.
However — and this might be a technique issue on my part —
I felt that when I hit off-center, the ball didn't carry forward as much.
Still, there's no doubt it's a good rubber, so please give it a try.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The grip is extremely high — even just grazing the ball lightly gave it a lot of spin. That said, blocks had a tendency to drop off the table, so I think countering is probably more stable than blocking.
It handles the short game competently too, and my impression is that this really is a rubber that appeals to just about everyone.
I think a blade with a bit of bounce suits it well.
If it flies too much, the rubber is a bit hard, so I think the ball will fly off before you can really put spin on it.To put it kindly, this rubber lets you hit a clean ball with a nice arc; to put it less kindly, the ball is "obedient" — it doesn't do much unusual. (It doesn't produce much unpredictable spin.)

I tried putting this on an outer-carbon blade.
I thought it would fly way off, but when I actually hit with it, the ball landed solidly on the table — it was fast and got good spin too.

I think the G1 is on the hard side and gives you fast drives.
I'm a close-to-the-table fast-attack type, so when I do flicks and chiquitas the speed is really fast, and my friends and I were talking like "this thing's crazy." As the name suggests, I basically only ever put on max thickness, and with max thickness the drives are amazing.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I'm using this on my forehand.
Rozena is on my backhand. I was never all that good at driving, and I couldn't hit consistently. But after switching to the G1 and hitting with the ball sinking into the sponge, my forehand drives started going in at a level that's almost funny.
And with such a nice arc too! So topspin rallies are easy as well. Personally, I feel like letting the ball sink in also makes chiquita easier, though for flicking-type techniques — maybe partly because my blade has a lively bounce — flicks often went long. Still, it was easy to control and a good rubber overall. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to get more arc on their drives.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
