Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

It's no surprise this stays near the top of the sales rankings. Among rubbers of the same hardness range, this is by far the easiest to use.
It gives you the ball-holding feel and spin you need for plastic balls, while still having more than passable speed.
If there's a real weakness, it's that the arc is too high (which is really just the flip side of a strength), and because it grips the ball so well, smashes are a bit more affected by the opponent's spin, so you need to be a little careful with your technique.
Even junior high schoolers, from top-of-district level up to prefectural tournament level, should be fine using it as long as they have enough power to swing a proper drive.
If you don't have much power, though, it's 47.5 degrees after all, so you might want to hold off.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I tried this out looking for strong grip on the ball and a high arcing trajectory (used on the forehand side).
Just like the reputation said, I definitely felt strong grip and a high arc.
Also, the way the ball kept extending after landing on the table was excellent.
However, that's only true in practice when you can take a full swing — in an actual game it was pretty tough to use.
First, if you hit it from an awkward position, you get a lot of shots going straight into the net.
As you'd expect from a pro-spec rubber, you shouldn't expect it to go in if you swing carelessly.
Also, since the sponge on this rubber is hard, the ball doesn't sink into it much, so you end up mostly grazing/brushing the ball when you hit.
So I think someone like me, who's used to hitting with a softer sponge rubber (around 40-45 degrees) that lets the ball sink in, will end up making more mistakes because of how they swing.Given all that, I think the players who can recommend this rubber to are ones who can always maintain a proper stance and who mainly brush the ball when hitting.
Of course, if you can hit it properly, there's no doubt it's a good rubber.
But because of the downsides I mentioned above, I don't think it's as much of a rubber for everyone as people say.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

The first time I changed my rubber, I put the max thickness version on my forehand, and it just flew off the racket like crazy. Also, this might be partly due to my own lack of skill, but it was hard to put spin on my drives. If you're going to use it, I'd recommend putting it on your backhand!

I used it on my backhand
Chiquitas are easy to hit and you can hit a nice flat, straight chiquita

This is a wonderful rubber.
Serves, receives, the short game, drives, topspin rallies, fishing, you name it — every technique was easy to do.
The amount of spin and the speed are both beyond reproach, and it feels like my swing translates directly onto the ball, so it's easy to mix up pace too!A perfect rubber!
