Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

Personally I found chopping easy to do. Maybe that's because I'd just been using Hurricane NEO3 before this.
Now for the main review
Topspin drive: Fast and gets a lot of spin, goes in consistently. It's especially stable when you drive below the peak of the bounce.
Chop: It has a lot of bounce, so you need to be careful to keep it under control. If your racket angle, contact point, and weight transfer are all correct, it's stable.
Block: It's hard, so you don't get pushed back.
Push: It's stable if you push it a little. It's not easily affected by the opponent's spin, so it's easy to get the ball on the table.
Stop (short push): Really easy to do.
Chopper's finishing shot: Since it generates a lot of speed, a chopper's finishing kill shot comes easily.

Drives are easy to hit and get a lot of spin, and serves really bite too!
Loop drives are easy to do! It doesn't fly too much, so it's just right
I recommend this rubber!

You can put a lot of spin on your serve and your drive too. It's also easy to do loop drives and smashes, so I recommend it!

I've only hit with it a little, but I'll write down my impressions anyway.
The first thing I noticed right after hitting with it is that it's not a rubber that flies on its own. But I don't mean it lacks bounce — it's hard to put into words, but instead of a flat trajectory that stabs straight through, the ball follows a solid, arcing trajectory.
It's a very well-balanced rubber, and none of drives, flat hits, blocks, the short game, or serves are hard to do with it.
Among those, I'd say the drive and the short game are where this rubber's characteristics really shine.
Since the rubber itself is on the harder side, I think it's favored by players who can generate a certain amount of impact, but I also think players without much power can handle it well enough if paired with a softer blade.
It's certainly not a cheap rubber, but among the many German-made rubbers out there, I'd say it has no real quirks, so if you're torn on what to pick, you won't regret choosing this one.
In terms of weight, the thickest sponge version in Butterfly's regular size comes in at around 50g, which isn't an unusual weight for a recent German-made rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

It's no surprise players like Ishikawa and Morizono use this. It's really easy to use.
First off, the intense spin and arc this somewhat soft sponge produces are just incredible. Pushes bite in well too, and control is very easy, making this a great rubber.
There are all kinds of players with all kinds of blades, but it's easy to use no matter what blade you pair it with.
That said, personally I think it's easiest to use with 7-ply or 5-ply blades. I used to agonize over whether to go through the trouble of switching to a tacky rubber, but with this you don't need to — it's usable regardless of level, and

Compared to the S-1, this is a rubber with a noticeably better feel.
Forehand: G-1, Backhand: S-1 might be a good combo...
Both speed and spin are outstanding, but it can transform depending on how you swing the racket, so opinions might be split, but for the price it's a highly recommendable, all-around rubber.
The compatibility with a 7-ply blade is outstanding!
It also paired really well with an inner-carbon blade.

I used this on my backhand. The rubber grips the ball so strongly that the arc gets ridiculously high. It turns into a drive that suddenly drops like it's falling off a cliff. Blocks turn into balls that seem to stab straight into
the opponent's court. And the technique that was easiest to pull off with this rubber was the serve. It bites in incredibly hard. It curves so much that opponents whiff on it maybe one out of every five times. But if someone without a proper swing uses it, it just becomes a rubber that bounces around uselessly, so I'd recommend it only for players with at least a year of table tennis experience.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
