Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

You can hit with this using pretty much the same strokes as a tacky rubber. I'd recommend it for players transitioning from tension rubber to tacky rubber, or from tacky rubber to tension rubber.

I have it on both sides. On the forehand, it felt powerful and easy to hit with, but since the sponge is hard, on the backhand it might feel hard to handle unless you're a pretty powerful player, so I can't really recommend it there.

This rubber takes speed, spin, control, and ease of use and levels all of them up. Because of that, it doesn't really have one standout special trait (though the arc on a loop drive is amazing). That said, its overall performance is so solid that I'd really recommend it for players making the jump from beginner to intermediate. If you find beginner rubbers lacking in spin and want to play with more consistency, this is a rubber I'd suggest.

For the forehand, I feel it's a bit short on distance.

I've also hit with the Tenergy 80, so to compare the two briefly: the G-1 has less bounce and feels like your own power gets transferred directly into the shot. The Tenergy feels like it flies off on its own, so I think it comes down to preference, but I love how the G-1 grips the ball, so it's my go-to!
As for the performance gap, the Tenergy might be a touch faster, but I didn't feel like there was that big a difference!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Serve receive, loop drives, speed drives, flat hits — this rubber makes every technique easy.
Honestly, I think the well-rounded G1 is more usable in an actual match than the recent spin-oriented tension rubbers that are either too extreme or too heavy.
It's not quite on the level of the Tenergy, but it still holds the ball well, grips it strongly, and weighs around 47 grams after cutting. Speed is plenty if you play close to the table.
That said, mid-distance rallies might feel a bit lacking. It doesn't rebound the ball back with quite the same force as the Tenergy. It's also a little slippery.
But I think matches are really decided by rallying at the very top level, so for a strong recreational player, the G1 should be more than enough.
As for the blade, pretty much anything works as long as it isn't super stiff.
If your swing is fast, a softer special-material outer blade works fine; if you want a safe choice, go with an inner-ply or 7-ply blade; and if you're not confident in your swing speed, a 5-ply blade is the way to go.
Since it's on the harder side, I'd basically recommend it for the forehand. I wouldn't recommend it for players who use a soft rubber on their backhand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The first thing I noticed is that it puts a lot of spin on the ball; the push tends to fly, so it takes a bit of a knack.
It works totally fine on both forehand and backhand! But I think the backhand is where this rubber's strengths really come out.
Lifespan is average, and I'd say durability is on the low side.
