Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

My feel for this has changed a lot since I last tried it, so I'm testing it again. I'm currently using Blue Fire JP01 Turbo, and this rubber carries the ball further than that, and the grip isn't bad either. That said, the quality of the ball feels a bit worse compared to Blue Fire. Still, I think G-1 is the one that lets you put spin on more consistently. Driving against backspin felt a little harder to lift. Backhand drives from mid-distance or away from the table also come out with more speed than with Blue Fire. Flat hitting is far easier with G-1. It feels like Blue Fire is for spin-based play, and G-1 is for flat-hitting play. That's not to say Blue Fire is bad at flat hits — it's just that compared to G-1, its flat-hitting game feels a bit weaker.

I use it on the backhand.
Compared to the Omega 5 series:
- It doesn't have as much power, but you can push through with spin instead
- Over-the-table shots like chiquita and push are easy, and they get good spin
I'd recommend it for anyone who wants stability, or who likes to swing hard on drives! All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Round (Experience: 6〜10 years) Great grip

The rubber is on the harder side, but the grip on the ball is excellent, and you can really feel like you're the one generating the power. With the "thick" version, I sometimes felt it lacked something once I backed off the table, but with max thickness you can hit powerful, heavily spinning drives even from off the table. The downsides are that even though the sheet feels firm, you can still lose out to the opponent's spin, and if you don't loop it well you get a lot of overshoot misses.

This is my main rubber right now, and driving against backspin, backhand drives, and chiquitas are all really easy with it. That said, I feel that half-hearted blocks or drives tend to slip — basically, the ball just clips off the rubber. But apart from that, it's a genuinely great rubber.

Lifting backspin is just too easy with this! It's great over the table too! Stops land dead on the spot! Even when I back off the table, drives come in with incredible power! It's faster than C-1 and gets more spin too! Absolutely the best!

I'm planning to keep using G-1 for good.
What I like most is how easy it is to put spin on the ball. When I drive, I can clearly switch between going for speed and going for a spin-heavy loop drive.
And on top of that, the amount of spin is insane‼️
