Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

I felt this rubber is more of a balanced type.
If I had to recommend a thickness, I'd go with max thickness.
The medium at 1.6mm isn't very thick, to the point some people might find it lacking.
Also, even though it's rated 47.5, it feels a bit on the soft side. I think it's best for backhand.
Of course you can use it on forehand too, but it doesn't produce that much arc, so it felt a bit lacking there.
If you use it, pairing it with a carbon blade gives just the right amount of bounce.

When I used it with an Innerforce ALC before, it wasn't great.

First impression: Amazing grip on the ball, better suited for backhand than forehand.
Topspin drive: Plenty of spin, feels light, it grips the ball and then releases it - good for people who like to smash into the ball hard rather than brushing it.
Push: Easy to do.
Block: Feels very "auto" - if you just touch the ball it goes in.
Serve: Pretty easy to use.
This rubber doesn't bounce as much as a regular tension rubber.
Opinions on this rubber are divided, but personally I'd recommend it to people who use Chinese rubbers (like Hurricane or Skyline) and want a bit more bounce. My reasoning is that with a tacky hitting style, the ball really flies.Definitely give it a try.

I think whether this rubber suits you or not depends a lot on your hitting style.
It has strong grip and is great for driving against backspin or for sharp serves, but the weak points are that the speed feels lacking, and depending on how you hit, it slips easily. Drives that go in fine with Factive end up flying straight into the net time and again with G-1. Whether it's the technique or maybe it's weak to humidity, my impression is that this is a difficult rubber that doesn't let you take it easy. On top of that, the amount of spin isn't especially high either, so I feel like I can only recommend it to people who specifically want strong grip.
It's a fact that pro player Ito uses it, so it must be a good rubber, but in the end I guess it comes down to the player using it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used this on a Japanese penhold racket.
My first impression was that a lot of techniques are easy to pull off with it.
It might be a good idea to use this as your baseline rubber and try out others from there.
As for over-the-table play, it might depend on your skill, but it was really easy to stop the ball dead.
It has plenty of power even from away from the table. I'd recommend it for both Japanese penhold and shakehand players!!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

From my impression, this rubber feels like an all-round rubber that can do just about everything. The catalog often describes it as spin-drive focused, but Fastarc itself is the type of rubber where you have to generate the power yourself and transfer it to the ball, so drive shots tend to feel a bit light — but they do go in. Unless you sink the ball well into the rubber, you won't get its true performance out of it. But even when you do sink the ball in, the shot still feels light, so it's less about power-focused drives and more about attacking with stable, repeated drives. Flat hitting is also fairly easy, so I think it's easy for female players to use too. That said, the sheet noticeably slips at times, so I wouldn't recommend it for players who mainly rely on quick counter-drives.

Reviewing this from a chopper's perspective.
Some people say it's great for chopping, but honestly it's not that good. Maybe because it's an "auto" rubber, the ball flies off on its own, and while it does get spin, it doesn't come out that great. It's also the kind of rubber you have to hit through firmly for drives, and it clips off the sheet, so I wasn't that fond of it. It's a matter of preference, but I don't think it suits players with strong impact. If you're a chopper using this, it's probably better for when you're mostly attacking.If you're not hitting on the backhand, it's decent as a blocking rubber. I think that's where the benefit of it being an "auto" rubber really comes through.
