Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

If you make contact and sink the ball in, it's stable. You get good shots. The backhand is the same.
But if you try a quick counter-drive against backspin... it just won't lift! Brushing drives also leave you a bit uneasy.
I'd recommend it for players who like to hit through the ball hard, and for backhand use.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I use max thickness on both sides.
People say it's similar to Tenergy, but personally I didn't feel it was very similar.
With Tenergy, the ball sinks into the sponge no matter what position you're in, but with G-1 it only sinks in when you hit hard.
That said, I felt stops and angled shots were easier than with Tenergy, so I think it suits players who do more than just drive — it's good for an all-round game.
The spin and speed are both good, but compared to the max-thickness versions of other rubbers, the sponge feels thinner, so it doesn't carry the ball as much.
It's a rubber I'd really recommend for the backhand.
It also lasts a long time and is fairly light, which is another point in its favor.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Comparing this to Rozena, my impression was that Fastarc G-1 gets more spin than Rozena. It's really easy to use on the backhand, and backhand drives had plenty of spin. On the forehand, drives felt like they went in more easily. So if you're going to use it, I'd recommend the backhand.

It doesn't really suit drive-oriented players. It suits flat-hitting players.
Driving against backspin is indeed easy since the sheet grips the ball well, but if you try to return spin the way you would with Tenergy, you don't get the same stable
ball. It doesn't carry the ball much, so I think it's good for players who play fast attacking games close to the table.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I was surprised at how flat the trajectory was — flatter than I expected.
Speed drives come out flat, but loop drives and lighter drives arc up nicely and feel stable. I think if you pair it with an inner-ply blade, even speed drives would get a higher arc.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is a rubber I knew wasn't for me from the basic drilling stage.
It's not that it's bad, but it doesn't carry the ball well and the sheet feels slippery.
Same with drives — the sheet has a kind of mushy, giving feel to it.
I think a lot of people won't like the feel unless they put it on the backhand or pair it with a harder blade.
It does get spin, so if you don't mind the feel — or if you actually like G-1's feel — I think it's easy to use.
For chiquita, that same mushy give actually works in its favor, letting the ball sink in nicely.

I use this on the forehand of my Fly At Carbon. I originally had Fly At Spin on it, but after switching to G-1 I felt like my drives gained power. It's especially easy to put spin on, and even from further back you can get plenty of spin during topspin rallies. I also smash a lot, and the power is beyond complaint. It's often recommended as a backhand rubber, but I think it works perfectly well on the forehand too.
