With the new Rakza PO Yasaka has developed a short pimpled out rubber. Offering increased spin capacity, due to the shape of the pimpled geometry and the use of more natural gum in the top sheet.

You can pull off spin-loaded short-pips quick attacks just like Mattias uses. It really shows why Mattias uses it

I think anyone who hits with this rubber will be surprised that, despite being short pips, the spin is on par with inverted rubber. There are other rubbers of the same type, like Butterfly's Raystorm or Yasaka's own Spinnate, but I think Rakza PO has the highest traditional short-pips potential in terms of bounce and speed.

This is my impression after borrowing it from a friend. For short pips, the spin is ridiculous. My forehand loop drive is almost the same as with inverted rubber. Smashes close to the table have huge power too.

It bounces more than Spinnate. The balance between power and control is spot on. Attacking over the table is really easy.

I run a both-sides short-pips setup, which is rare these days. I have this rubber on my backhand. It makes quick attacks over the table really easy, and for blocks, just touching the ball sends it in naturally. You can put normal spin on backhand serves too. And if you get pushed back, you can still chop, you know. I'd recommend it to all-round players too.

For short pips, the ball sinks in quite a bit. I'd highly recommend it to anyone switching from inverted rubber to short pips. It sinks in, but it still shows proper short-pips characteristics — I think it's a really good rubber

This is a really good rubber
You can put a solid loop drive on the ball, and against a floating ball you can smash it hard and fast. It's affected a bit by the opponent's spin, but if you push through the shot it goes in
It takes time to get used to, but once you do, it really widens your range of play
