For a short pips rubber, I'd say it grips quite a lot of spin. Speed is fast too, and I'd say the ball leaves the rubber fairly quickly as well. For the medium sponge, the weight was a bit over 30g.

Back in my school days I used the Spectrum, and I remember that whenever I tried to drive with it, the ball would just drop straight down. This comment is written with that experience in mind.
The feel gives you that quick ball-release typical of short pips, but the spin goes way beyond what you'd normally expect from short pips. Actually, there's enough rebound that you can have normal topspin rallies from mid-distance (lol).
You can also produce tricky knuckle balls, but it's hard unless you're doing it on purpose, so if you want something that's easy to use, the XB is probably a better fit.

      10 + 10 (Experience: 2〜3 years) Made me laugh a little

      Reviews by user

When I hit a backhand drive with it, I found myself thinking, wait, is this inverted rubber?
When I had someone who can't normally play with short pips try it, they said, okay, I could actually use short pips with this.
I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to switch from inverted rubber to short pips!

Drives grip an incredible amount! I couldn't believe I was using short pips. Since it's a tension rubber, it's got plenty of bounce for speed too, and it's easy to use! If you want to play short pips but rely heavily on drives, this is the rubber for you.

      This is a wonderful rubber!
Forehand drives get plenty of spin and speed — it doesn't feel like short pips at all!
When you short-block on the backhand, you get a knuckle ball even though it's a spin-oriented rubber! Used like long pips, it plays like anti-spin and lets you confuse your opponent!
It's really easy to use, and I think it's a great rubber!

      Reviews by user

At first I used it just to get used to short pips, but now I actually play matches with this rubber. Despite how quickly the ball leaves the rubber, it wobbles a ton. It's a short pips rubber that feels like anti-spin! Opponents get thrown off so much they can't perform at their usual level!

Idea (Experience: 2〜3 years) Redefines short pips spin!!

      Reviews by user

This is just not short-pips-level spin anymore! Drives come out low and fast, like with Bryce. Loops also carry a really long way. You can put out a solid knuckle ball whenever you want to. Penhold angle shots are fast — no, too fast. Blocks land on their own too, because it's such a high-tension rubber. This is the strongest short pips rubber out there! But it bounces so much that it's not really suited for beginners.
