Ham taro (Experience: 4〜5 years) Intense bounce

      Reviews by user

I put this on my Chinese-penhold SW Classic.
This rubber bounces like crazy, period. It's apparently meant for players without much power, and it seems to have quite strong tension built in, because even someone as weak as me can easily hit fast, powerful shots.
For someone with real strength, their speed drives and smashes can only be described as "intense."

The spin is a bit weaker than spin-oriented tension rubbers, but if you really put the spin on, you can even produce sidespin sharp enough to cut the edge of the table.

However, because it bounces so much, control over the table is difficult — even a light touch sends it long.

Given all that, I'd recommend this rubber to players who prioritize speed over spin, and to anyone without much power who still wants to hit an intense smash.

    • Hydrogen ion

Hydrogen ion (Experience: 6〜10 years) As expected of a German rubber. A product that seems to boost every category of high-elasticity, high-friction rubber.

      Reviews by user

I borrowed this from a friend to try it out. The surface had degraded quite a bit and turned white, but it still bounced well, and serving with a cutting motion aimed at really sinking the ball into the sponge got plenty of spin.
For the short game too, it was easy to work with for a bouncy rubber - my stops would only land a little deeper than intended.
The rubber itself was max thickness, but it didn't feel heavy.
It's a soft sponge, but regardless of whether you like a hard or soft feel, I think it's a good rubber that goes well on any type of attacking blade.
Even without a booster or glue, it's one of my favorite rubbers for its distinctive feel, sound, and speed.

This is a rubber that makes fast-paced rallies, connecting shots from far back, and counterattacks pretty easy. You don't even need to drive the ball yourself — the rubber does the flying for you. If a beginner uses it there's a risk they won't build proper fundamentals, so I'd recommend it for intermediate players and above. Because the ball flies so easily, the absolute amount of spin stays moderate. It's quite easy to put spin on, though, so the consistency is high! Basically, with pretty much any rubber, the versions labeled "Soft" tend to be faster and more consistent than the normal type, haha.

Wow gold (Experience: 4〜5 years) An average rubber

      Reviews by user

A rubber that's neither good nor bad.
In a good way, it has no strong characteristics, so overall it's stable and consistent.
