This is a rubber with great control!
The sponge hardness is rated 47.5 degrees, but it doesn't actually feel hard.
It lasts a long time, so it's a rubber I can recommend to beginners.
Something I noticed recently — loop drives are super easy to do with this.

I bought this as my second rubber.
My first one was GTT on both sides.
First off, the control is outstanding.
Even if you hit it kind of carelessly, it still lands on the table!
The top sheet is also on the harder side, so you get good speed too.
For the sponge thickness, I'd recommend 2.0.
That said, the spin is a little inferior to GTT.
But in terms of how easy it is to generate spin, Vega comes out on top.
It doesn't bounce a whole lot, so it's probably best paired with an outer-carbon blade or a fast plywood blade.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I thought this was a rubber with high control that spins the ball well. It's a bit hard to get speed out of, but if you hit it properly, you get a nicely spinning ball. It's not the type of rubber meant for speed, but its spin and control are both quite high. I think it suits anyone who values stable, consistent rallies.

It feels like a budget version of Tenergy.
It doesn't fly as far as Rozena, but it holds up well in rallies without the ball slipping off and dropping when you hit hard. The ball doesn't have any special extra speed, but it handles every technique competently.
It's cheap and long-lasting — a rubber with great value for money.

I'd gotten tired of only using high-performance rubbers, so I tried this one. For an entry-level rubber, the sponge hardness is a fairly firm 47.5 degrees and it has some decent weight to it, so I'd recommend it to beginners who still want to use a higher-performing rubber. The top sheet isn't too hard and keeps the ball's flight distance in check, which made it very easy to control. Because the whole rubber is on the firmer side, hitting with a relaxed swing keeps the ball's distance short, while hitting with more power sends it further, so I felt the short game and topspin drives were both very easy to execute. Also, since the rubber is firm, it suits plastic balls well — the ball doesn't fall off easily even when hit hard, and you get exactly as much spin as you put in, which makes it well suited to today's entry-level rubbers. It's heavier than you'd expect for an entry-level rubber, so hitting with just your arm doesn't produce good shots — it's an ideal rubber for learning to hit with your whole body! It undersells itself a bit with the name "Vega Intro," but I've often beaten higher-ranked players while using it, and I felt its potential was actually higher than Vega Europe or Vega Asia. So if you're a beginner looking for a high-performing rubber among entry-level options, or an intermediate-to-advanced player wanting to revisit the fundamentals, give this one a try!

I thought this was perfect for beginners to get a feel for controlling the ball "with their own skill."

I got it cheap, so I tried it out.
It has that springy, bouncy feel typical of high-elasticity rubbers, while still giving the speed you'd expect from a rock-hard sponge.
Spin performance is plenty good, but it might be tough to use on the backhand.
Your swing ends up needing to lift the ball almost perpendicular to the table, which could give you some odd habits.
On the forehand it's totally usable.
That said, there's stuff like Vega Europe in the same price range, so I'm not sure how it really compares…All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
