I play with a Chinese penhold, pips on the black side, and used to play a blocking style, but switching to the Hurricane II let me attack a lot more! Topspin drives are also much easier to hit.

· The tackiness is insane
· Spin grips a tonPersonally, this feels like the tackiest tacky rubber I've ever used.
If you take good care of it and keep a protective sheet on it, the tackiness doesn't drop off at all.
Anyway, the spin is intense.

It goes really well with outer-carbon blades. But with inner-carbon blades or 5-ply wood blades, it suddenly stops fitting well. So if you're using an outer-carbon blade and thinking about switching to a tacky rubber, I'd recommend this one. That said, I can't recommend it to people who prioritize speed over spin, or to people who aren't used to tacky rubber.

Thick version on the forehand.
It's super tacky.
The sponge is very hard.
The rubber is heavy, I think.Considering the impact needed for attacking shots and the weight of the rubber, I think it's difficult to handle without some muscle strength.

I used this on the forehand.
If you brush it properly, every spin-based technique is great!
But unless you're strong, you might not get much distance.
For counters, hitting it thin makes it go in.
Counters are great too
Smashes are a bit harder to pull off?

As expected of tacky rubber, the spin is incredible. Speed comes out if you have the strength to fully swing through, and with some skill, control is easy too.
But as I mentioned, speed requires strength, and by "some skill" I mean you probably need at least 3 years of table tennis experience to really handle this well.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I'm a chopper! The sponge is on the harder side, and serves spin a lot. My current Yinhe extra-thin rubber has more spin, but when chopping from farther back, the Hurricane Pro 2 is more stable, so I'd recommend this one to anyone who wants both stability and spin.
