    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Vega Tour is highly rated as a cost-effective rubber with excellent performance in the 5000 yen price range. Despite being classified as a speed-type, it offers superior spin performance, with particularly strong evaluations for back-side use, flat hitting, and short-range techniques. Some users note difficulty in handling and shorter durability.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Exceptional cost-performance ratio around 5000 yen
    • Well-balanced speed and spin characteristics
    • Particularly suited for backhand and flat hits
    • Easy short-range techniques with good stability
    • Shorter lifespan with faster wear
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveAmong XIOM rubbers, it's the best performer that rivals the latest models. Comparable to the entry-level Omega series but more preferable, and purchasable near 4000 yen.
▽ CriticalShows slipping tendency for weak hitters and tends to overshoot when hit hard. Lacks the reliability of previous rubbers and requires careful handling.

KF (Experience: 2〜3 years) This is the one!

      Reviews by user

I switched my forehand from Rozena to Vega Tour. The differences in feel are:
      - Harder than Rozena but still sinks in
      - Sinks in and bounces back firmly
      - Spin grabs almost automatically
      - Works equally well whether you sink the ball in or brush it
      - Has speed, spin, and control all at once

In conclusion, Vega Tour suited me better than Rozena.

I expected it to be similar to Tenergy, but personally I found it easier to handle than Tenergy. It felt like a rubber positioned somewhere between Tenergy 64 and 80.
I'd definitely recommend this rubber to Vega users or anyone interested in it.
At 5000 yen it's a bit pricey, but I think this rubber has value and performance beyond that price.

I mounted 2mm on my forehand.
I used to use the C-1, but this one feels like it bounces more.
Also, the sound when you hit the ball is really loud.
The spin feels like it comes on its own.
I also tried it on the backhand, and it grips the ball nicely and flies well,
so I think it's a rubber you can use on both sides!

Platicuhard (Experience: Less than a year) Goes in with amazing power on the backhand!

      Reviews by user

It's on the hard side, and on the forehand the rebound is so strong that my serves and receives kept going long,
but on the backhand it hit with real power and landed consistently — a really good rubber.

      Tugo Great-value balanced rubber

      Reviews by user

This was really hard to rate. My scores are speed 9, spin 8, though if I add decimals it's more like speed 8.7, spin 8.4. I gave this rating because in a previous review I rated the V-01 Stiff at speed 8, spin 9. It has gone up in price, but it's still high-performing within the Vega lineup, so the value for money is still good — please do give it a try.

sticky choridora (Experience: 6〜10 years) Surprisingly soft!

      Reviews by user

Bounces quite a lot. When you just knock the ball flat, you get really nice shots. I had the image that Vega's high-end models are on the harder side, but this one is surprisingly soft.

ABDMore (Experience: 2〜3 years) Bounces more straight than Rozena

      Reviews by user

I used this on my forehand, and when driving against backspin,
my practice partner told me "it feels like it's slipping."
I tried comparing it with the Rozena I had on my backhand,
and yes, there was definitely a feeling of slipping.
(Since I don't hit very hard, maybe it wouldn't slip for someone with a stronger impact.)

I also tried it on the backhand,
but since it bounces a lot, I got a lot of overs when hit hard,
and I felt it was tough to use on the backhand too.

I've used things like the C-1 and the Rakza Soft series before,
but this was the first rubber I ever gave up on before it reached the end of its life.
It's not really a question of good or bad — I just don't think it's a "safe, no-surprises" rubber like Rozena or the C-1.

butterfly A rubber that takes getting used to

      Reviews by user

I got back into table tennis after a long break and used this rubber. At first it felt hard and the trajectory was flat, so control was difficult to get right. As I got used to it, I gradually started hitting balls I was satisfied with. I felt this rubber isn't suited for beginners. Flat hits and counters are easy to do with it.
