I liked Vega Asia DF on my backhand, so for my forehand
I looked for a similar but higher-performance rubber and tried this one.
Compared to Vega Asia DF:
· A bit more speed
· A bit more spin on the drive
But the difference isn't huge.
· Counters are stable and have good speed
It performs as expected and is easy to use.A rubber I'd recommend.

Used MAX thickness on the forehand of a Japanese penhold blade. My impression is that the rubber itself bounces a lot, so even a light touch gives you distance and speed. Even though it flies far, it also lands neatly on the table when you want it to. Stops hold well too, and control in the short game is very good. For drives, catching the ball thin rather than hitting it hard gives you a ball with spin and carry, and there's zero slipping when you catch it thin. Blocks feel like you're absorbing the opponent's ball as you hit it, so you can also fight back with pushes and counters. Loops and pushes can also be hit with solid spin. Hitting flat feels almost no harder than usual either. The one downside is that when you're pulled back from the table into topspin rallies, you need a swing that sends the ball forward rather than fast, so if you don't catch the ball well, you can end up with a half-hearted ball that's easy for your opponent to press. But in terms of value for money, this level of performance is almost too good. I'd really like more people to try this rubber.

It really shines in fast-paced exchanges.
Even a light swing produces speed, and I could see my opponent looking surprised.

I borrowed this from a friend and tried it out.
My first impression was that with a light touch it flies incredibly well! Even just hitting flat on the forehand it was clearly fast, and when I tried a light drive it was flat and really fast. It flies way more than you'd expect from a soft hit. It's not that there's no spin, but the spin amount is a bit on the low side, so it flies flat and I felt like I was prone to net misses and overs.
When I tried hitting hard, it didn't fly as much as I expected. The sponge is soft and the sheet grips the ball a lot, so hitting hard makes the ball sink in too much and it doesn't fly as far as the swing would suggest — the trajectory is flat, same as with a light hit. And because it's soft, the short game was very hard to play.
I thought the technique this rubber handles best is hitting against backspin. Even a light hit makes the ball sink in, so it's very easy to lift. But because it flies flat, while the ball does come up, control is difficult. When it lands, you get a nice ball with real speed on it.
This rubber has a light touch, good grip, and good speed, so I'd recommend it to people who aren't confident in their power but still want speed. On the other hand, I don't think people with a strong impact should use it. (Just my personal opinion.)All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Borrowed this from Mac-fan and gave it a hit. It flew a ton right from the first shot.
I only ever use spin-oriented tension rubbers, never speed-oriented ones, so I'm not used to this kind ^-
It gets a good amount of spin. I'd say it leans more toward being a backhand rubber.
I really like how fast it is while still landing neatly on the table. The arc is also on the higher side, so it's a great value-for-money rubber that lets you play carefully without mistakes.
Mac-fan had TOUR on the forehand and X on the backhand. That combo was actually my suggestion lol
It really was easy to play with, but it does take a bit of time to get used to.
Once you get used to it, I thought it was a really strong rubber.
If possible, I think a blade without carbon makes it easier to control the speed. I'd say a 5-ply blade works best.

Currently using this on the B side (backhand).
The Vega series has been a great series that's helped me out many times since I started playing table tennis, and I think this is exactly its high-end version. If you compare it to XIOM's own lineup, it's like a budget Omega VII — maybe even Pro level. It feels a bit on the soft side to the touch. Rather than the forehand, I think intermediate players and up might prefer it on the backhand. You can put spin on the ball consistently, and even a weak hit still goes forward. It's a rubber that comes together nicely.
That said, it's a little lacking... it's definitely not bad, but I can't deny it feels slightly inferior to what other makers offer at this price point. It gives off the vibe that you might as well pay a bit more for something like the V-15, a slightly softer G-1, or Rakza. Still, it's perfectly usable, and I'd call it a well-rounded honor student of a rubber. I can also recommend it as a step-up rubber.
[Addendum]
I've since re-mounted it on the forehand of my backup racket (a discontinued Nittaku 7-ply blade) and am using it there now.
I felt it lacking on the backhand, but on the forehand it's stable and actually easier to use. That said, I realized once again that harder rubbers suit me better, so I think Vega X would probably suit me more.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

First off, I felt this rubber is more of a spin rubber than a speed one.
I put it on the backhand of a 5-ply blade and it's really easy to use. It's easy to lift backspin balls, and it grips the ball well too. I went with thick, and even at thick I thought it still bounces quite a lot.
But as I said at the start, some people might find the speed a bit lacking. Also, the ball really sinks into it. So even though it's rated 45 degrees, it doesn't feel that hard to use. I'd recommend it for the backhand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
