I switched over from Rozena on my backhand. This rubber has good spin, and above all, the control is great — I think this'll be my go-to rubber for a while.

I got to try this one out.
The very first thing I thought was: this is just incredibly stable!! Thanks to the Cycloid technology, the ball sinks into the sponge easily and traces a nice arc, so I almost never mis-hit even when I kept firing off drive after drive!
Also, it's easy to put spin on and the max ceiling is high! This topsheet looks like it'll last a long time!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I didn't get that "spin grabs automatically" feeling that other reviews mention.
That said, the spin is plenty, and I never felt like it slipped off against backspin.
The bounce is also plenty, and I especially felt like there was little speed loss when hitting a chiquita.
It's not just drives — blocks and counters with a firmer, meatier contact are also easy to do, and the overall balance is really good.
If I had to name one drawback, the ball comes off it fast, so if you pair it with a bouncy blade, chop-blocks and sidespin blocks tend to fly a bit too long.
I can recommend it to any attacking-style player who already has a reasonable foundation of basics.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Switched from F: 05 max thickness, B: G1 thick, to both sides Vega Tour F: MAX, B: thick.
Honestly, it's not a replacement rubber for Tenergy 05 users...
The short game wasn't too much of an issue, but for attacking shots, 05 wins overwhelmingly ^^;
Especially on drives, I got a strong sense of some mysterious feeling of the ball "slipping through," like a loss of power.
I'm on the thin side and have about average strength, so I don't think it's that my swing speed was too fast.
Spring sponge is amazing (confirmed).
Unfortunately I went back to 05 after just two days (;´Д`)So, up to this point I've been pretty harsh about using it on the forehand, but on the backhand it feels quite good!
G1 wins out for blocks and the short game since it's harder, but Vega Tour handles those just fine too without any real issues. On top of that, it felt about two levels easier for attacking shots like drives, hitting, and smashes, so overall I decided to go with Vega Tour on my backhand!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Compared to Omega V, control is easier. Speed and spin are also easy to bring out. That said, I personally feel like Omega V has a higher max ceiling. I think players who aren't very good at control would do better in matches using this rubber (the Vega series). Players who can control the ball well would probably be better off with the Omega series, I think. Hope this helps as a reference...

These are my impressions from the forehand side.
Spin — it grabs a ton. It feels like the spin comes almost automatically. So if a beginner uses it, they might end up relying on the rubber too much for their game.
Speed is there too, nothing to complain about. There's never a moment where you feel like the ball won't go anywhere.
And above all, it's cheap at 5000 yen. If you're thinking of buying an Omega, get this instead.
