mushroom (Experience: 2〜3 years) Pretty good, yeah

      Reviews by user

The chop really bites into the ball.
It's great for counterattacking off a chop.
I'd really like attacking-style players to try it too.
      It's just really heavy, though.

    • I LOVE STIGA

I LOVE STIGA (Experience: 4〜5 years) Surprisingly easy to use, but...

      Reviews by user

If you just look at the hardness rating, it seems like a hard rubber, but when you actually hit with it, it strangely doesn't feel as hard as the specs suggest.
That said, the sponge really is hard, so when you hit a bit harder, that hardness shows through.
I'm an all-round topspin driver, and it works fine as a regular offensive rubber.
The only downside is probably the weight of the rubber...
But that's kind of unavoidable since every tension rubber over 50 degrees seems to weigh more than 50 grams.
I'd love for attacking-style players to try this one too.

Impact pride (Experience: 4〜5 years) Sooo hard

      Reviews by user

Hard. I normally use Hurricane, and this might actually be harder than that. I used the MAX thickness, and since it's hard, it's naturally heavy too — and looking at the sponge, there are no bubbles in it at all. Hearing all this, you might think it's nothing but drawbacks, but when you actually hit a topspin drive, the ball comes out with a crisp "clack clack" sound and plenty of spin on it. I also tried chopping, and knuckle chops are easy to produce. If you want a clear difference in ball quality between a spinny chop and a knuckle chop, this might be a good recommendation. Topspin drives grip like crazy too, so loopers can use this as well.

      Kokeko A spin monster!

      Reviews by user

Even beginners can get an advanced player's drive with this! The height of the arc is insane. Even if you're off balance when you return the ball, it still draws a solid arc and drives right into your opponent's court. You can throw your opponent off with heavy topspin drives. Chops are also flawless, though pushes feel firm, so it might take some getting used to.

      Takuto (Experience: 2〜3 years) Heavy!

      Reviews by user

It's incredibly heavy. If you put inverted rubber on the other side too, I think only a limited number of people could actually swing it properly. So I'd recommend it for choppers or players using short pips or long pips.

(Experience: More than 20 years) Usable for attacking style too

      Reviews by user

This is a very hard, heavy rubber that grips the ball well for spin. It's marketed for choppers, but attacking players can use it without any problems too. Serves and pushes bite really well. Blocks occasionally come out as a strange knuckle ball. I'd describe it as a tacky-feeling tension rubber that removes the drawbacks of a true tacky rubber.

      Zag (Experience: 4〜5 years)

      Reviews by user

I tried this in red, MAX thickness.
Chops were easier to keep in check than with Vega Asia, and control was pretty good too.
Depending on where the ball hits, it makes a sound like it's cracking.
For topspin drives, both speed and spin come through solidly, and smashes deliver proper power and speed.
Serves were also easy to put spin on, and I could produce both short and long serves easily.
Pushes were quite easy to control, and they carried spin too.
Overall, this rubber made it very easy to put sidespin on the ball.
